Having heard the real thing many times, I can truthfully say that that is the nearest I've ever heard to it - all the pops and bangs and unevenness are there.

@bassettrd no, it means gutting the tamiya electronics. not a fun job but more than doable

Can you comment more on the quality of the tank? I want to purchase a 1/6th all metal tank however Verio and Armortek seem to be the only ones that offer all metal tanks. the other problem is that Armortek is double in price....any thoughts or comments would be great!

Stay as far away from Verio as possible. Armortek are much better, and the forum is all english, so any troubles you may have will be sorted straight away.

Go to google and search for Mark 1 tank.

Mine is a Verio but I wouldn't buy from them again. The tank was poorly designed and needed redesign when I got it.
