  • hi,

I just bought a wot trainer, arriving friday from the model shop in guisborough, i was wondering, if i get it running by sunday can i come to the club as a guest and have someone fly with me for a bit. its my first gas plane, ive flown electric before. i would like to join the club but i work in hereford and away most of the time.

  • Thanks for the welcome and very positive comment, pt60(!) I have a camera now, rescued from my daughter when the battery charge onboard went AWOL, that produces far better 640 x 480 video and 5.1Mp still pictures that would prove even better for airborne shots. Heavier than the DV4 but still, hopefully, able to be dragged aloft by the Slowstick (plane) workhorse. I'll have to do a bit of work on the camera's shutter drive electronics from the receiver to work it from the transmitter. Time ticks

  • hi does the Guisborough Model Flying Club cost anything and when do meet? I know where you meet .

  • Hi jackboy1993, Meetings on first Monday of the month at Lazenby. Sometimes at the Dunsdale field. Check out the website for costs and terms. Thanks for your comment. If you intend to fly you should try our club. If you just want to chat about model aircraft - We're there.

    Paul F.
