  • Woooow I often forget how great James' voice used to be. Insane.

  • Pleaaaaase!!!Please tell me where this footage is from and where I can get this!!!

  • Fake !!!

  • Fake !!!

  • RobertM19, thankyou. I really appreciate those people who have access to this kind of stuff and understand the need from other DT fans for this kind of stuff!

  • I miss this James and Kevin as well. And I miss John's Ibanez with the Steve's Special and Air Norton pickups. Who knows what kind of band we've have today if James could still sing like this and Kevin was still around.

  • 2:42 F SHARP

  • Que fino cantaba allí Labrie vale.... sin duda esa fue su mejor época como cantante...

  • wtf's up with the faces and the hand at 5:05? freaked me out

  • Sonic orgasmdynamite.

  • James is simply inhuman.

  • great audio and video sound! too bad they're out of sync :(

  • I love it, back when they all had their hair!!

btw, eat that mic you bitch! 3:03

  • Jordan Rudess is my favourite Dt's keyboard. I love also Derek, don't love so much Kevin Moore as musician, I love him as music-maker.

  • Eh?

  • What?

  • Huh?

  • ok.....????

  • In the beginning chords, bass, bass drums, guitar, keyboards and everything sounds so perfect together. This is best sounding JP that I've ever heard. So damn perfect!! Ibanez JPM is brutal in this video.

    Thanks for the post. =)

  • yeah but too bad rudess is twice as good as kevin

  • Kevin was great. But Rudess is probably about 4 times as good as him and Derick combined.

  • I don't know which I like better though. You're right, Rudess is a way better musician, but his solos can be quite lengthy and therefore boring. I mean, not his solos in the recordings, but his live solos with nobody else playing.

  • lol i have to say you're wrong there ^^ but everyone has his opinion

    wth dream theater ftw

  • well I mean I really like his solos on the albums... But at live concerts, like on the Chaos in Motion DVD, a 5-minute keyboard (and only keyboard) solo was a bit much.

  • Just a plesuare to see Kevin Moore at the keys... he was phenomenal

  • Nice F#5 before the second chorus!

  • Sorry, i hadn't heard the final. This live is fucking better o.o

  • Uhm... I really can't choose between this Live and the Score version o.o

  • Wow!!! The perfect band! I love all of their music, but especially the stuff from 1993 because Labrie was at his best! Before the accident. Such a powerful, complete voice.

  • @BillyJimmyBobbyTimmy sorry, but what accident are you talking about?? i didnt know that :S

  • @dousds85 he ate a dodgey shrimp and had food poisoning and threw up for days and ruptured his vocal chords.. theres reports that really he shouldnt have ever been able to sing properly again but I dont reckon it was as bad as people make out. certainly fucked him over royally though

  • this performance was better than the score

  • i dont know

    score was pretty good!!

  • This is the best I've ever heard James' voice sounding! Awesome!

  • Even for people who dont like james they surely would like this, it is perfect

  • How close do you think James sounded to this on the "Score" version?

  • This is insane, his singing is awesome, the solo is epic!

  • Legendary video!! NICE UPLOAD THANKS FOR THIS

  • from 2:40 to 2:43... Labrie ROCKS!!!! better than the other straight scream he used to do!

  • THX SOOOO MUCH for posting !

This fuckin' solo gives me frills everytime !

    Damn, Afterlife rox forever !

  • wow... where does this come from???

  • Wow cool! This must be some sort of tv performance. Weird..
