  • wait a fuckinminute now... did green day do both Dookie and Warning over therbillie goota luv goat island then

  • is this in the album dookie?

  • @AshleighProductions5 It was first on kerplunk but it's on dookie too

  • everything green day has ever done is awesome, especially the bass solo on welcome to paradise

  • @TheSMPM and long view

  • °Green day° 4-ever

  • welcome to paradise is one of my favourite songs ever! my favourite version is the one of Kerplunk :)

  • i love how mike does that jump like in the beginning

  • It's his signature.

  • dookie is by far the best album, if u are new to green day just listen to dookie it completely defines them its great with some awesome songs especially like this one!!!^^^^^^

  • @fedsta14 QFT :D i really like it too

  • this song has been on 3 of their albums...it's fucking awesome

  • dookie is the best album of green day, fuck!! :)

  • I agree! Dookie is the best album! Really defines the age of adolescents, and the 90's! <3

  • dookie is actually at double diamond i believe

  • This riff is Blitzkrieg Bop backwards.

  • they all look so young here

  • 102.9 THE BUZZ - EVERYTHING THAT ROCKS! Nashville, Tn

  • haha what if your connection speed sucks :L then your screwed xD

  • I think this song is 10x better than "Know Your Enemy", which is IMO far too repetive. This song is full of energy. And I'm still amazed how Green Day still makes all it's riffs from powerchords...

  • Well, it works, so why stop? :)

  • agreed

know your enemy is played wayy too much

this is one of green days best songs

the energy and riff is amazing

  • It's so awesome that guitar riff.

  • YES IT IS!!!

  • haha this probly sounds weird, but can you live in goat island ?? or is it just like a little park island thing ?? lol ..pretty cool if you can live there ! (:

  • 9 fucking years ago and is still great

  • its vry cool

  • green day shall remain my favorite band ever!

no matter how many times i get distracted by another band i really like, it never lasts and i go back to green day in the end :D

  • same here ^-^

  • perfectly said lemonlaw95.

i get in streaks listening to bands.... but in the end its green day who remains.

  • thanks :)

  • I second the motion.

  • By far I think this is one of the best songs Dookie but still underrated..

    Green Day Rulzz!

  • Actually, it was originally on Kerplunk.

  • Yes it was, but they altered it slightly for Dookie and did a better recording (because of the better facilities Reprise had because they were bigger) and Dookie is their most prominant album besides now American Idiot. Love this song, the band I'm in has it as a staple cover :)

  • yeah.

lookout! was a shitty studio. reprise is MUCH better. what i don't get though is why billie joe owns a studio (adeline) but doesn't use it...

  • Niether do I. Maybe their equipment isn't as good as Reprise's?

  • nah. it's nice equiptment. maybe because he wants to stick with the same label for recognition?

  • i doubt it. maybe just because they want to stick with the same label for recognition?

  • Billie uses Adeline records for Pinhead Gunpowder and The Network, (his bands) also, he doesn't completely own it. Jason White has partial ownership

  • Well Reprise lets them do what they want to do, so I see no problem with it! :D

  • dookie is there biggest selling album with 15 million copies being sold and it reached double platinum i think but im not sure, im only 13 so it is older than me

  • Very underrated compared to the other terrific tracks on Dookie, but still absolutely brilliant. Mike is a mean bassist. I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks otherwise must be deaf.

  • Lol some of the crowd has green hair lol

  • tre cool = the best drummer of all time

  • tre cool = win

  • mike dirnt best bassist ever

  • i love green day !!!!!!!!!!!! this video is greAT BOYS

  • I know that Mike isn't the best bassist in the world (Skill wise) but i think that he comes up with the best bass lines in the world and i think he's the most energetic, and coolest bassist in the world though, most other bassist's are mad calm and they just have no energy at all on stage but Mike is mad cool.

  • ..... You said that Mike isn't the best bass player ever skill wise.... but he comes up with the best bass lines in the world.... That doesn't really make sense

  • Yeah..like you don't have to be the fastest bass player but you can still come up with really catchy bass lines and great sounding ones to,and i believe that can make you a great bassist

  • Definately. but the point of being a bass player is making "catchy"(good) bass lines. and if that's what it means to be good then that guy who commented like 3 months ago's comment was redundant. He is a very good bass player. Some of his bass parts are just the same as the guitar riff but also (in songs like Welcome to paradise, J.A.R., Longview and many others) the bass parts are very catchy and very... awsome...

  • oh wait that was you..... nevermind then. Your comment was slightly contradictory... not redundant...

  • LOL,Like Sex Pistols,Green Day,PIL,all that Punk stuff.

  • Completely agree.

you dont have to be a wizz with techniques to be a great bassist and/or guitarist.

its about how you play as part of a team,

not how fast you can shred or how many notes you can slap in one go!

    :D

  • this is badass!

  • mikes such an awesome bassist

  • @ilovemusic1994 ikr?

  • great video for a great band!

  • GREEN DAY <3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • probably windows movie maker...
