Clearly there is a confusion here with regards to distinguishing a true spiritual entity from an abstract viewpoint of the devil. If someone says that satan, the embodiment of evil, exists only in the hearts of men, that is being esoteric, philosophical like Socrates and an Agnostic. Bill Cooper was right about a lot of things, but he didn't have a CLUE about theology. Saying there is no Satan is saying there is no God. Period. Another thing he was wrong about was about Aaron Russo. Russo was not a charlatan, nor was he a rip-off like Cooper accused him of. To date, I still vividly recall those experiences. And I think it was somehow related to the room I was sleeping in. After I told my dad about it, he slept in that room for ONE night and he experienced the same phenomenon!!! Sleep paralysis on my dad too? PLEEEEEEASE !!!

Clearly there is a confusion here with regards to distinguishing a true spiritual entity from an abstract viewpoint of the devil. If someone says that satan, the embodiment of evil, exists only in the hearts of men, that is being esoteric, philosophical like Socrates and an Agnostic. I believe in the Bible and I know of a literal satan but Bill is alluding to a metaphorical satan which makes his position agnostic. It follows without any doubt, that that is also his position on Jesus.

Speaking of Utopian society, I strongly believe that the idea behind Communisim is absolutely beautiful - we all work towards the common good, and no one is better than anyone else. Unfortunately, we humans are innately greedy, power thirsty and selfish, true Communism would never work in today's society. It can only remain as an ideal.

Though not all occult groups worship or center themselves on archetypes/metaphors, many of the most powerful ones do. The public Church of Satan, the OTO (and most Crowlean orientated groups) do tend to follow the Jungian archetypical views. There are also occult orders (secret groups) focused on God, Jesus, or Mary, or Mary Magadellan, but it could be argued that these also view Jesus/God as internal and archetypical aspirations rather than actual. There are exceptions of course.

Bill Cooper was right about a lot of things, but he didn't have a CLUE about theology. Saying there is no Satan is saying there is no God. Period. Another thing he was wrong about was about Aaron Russo. Russo was not a charlatan, nor was he a rip-off like Cooper accused him of. Cooper was passionate to the point of being cruel tempered & hot headed. Though I thank his efforts with many of the things he revealed, I also think he threatened the lives of the officers who came to his house that day.
