  • Karlovic's serve is like watching a giraffe masturbating

  • <3 Verdasco <3333 so beautiful

  • I literally blinked and missed it

  • So fast you can't hear the gap between racket and ground impacts.

  • What a bomb !

  • Too bad that's all he's good at. Probably THE most boring player to watch on the tour. 3-4 stroke rallies on average, no movement, just a big server.

  • @JForcE777 you're an idiot. The guy's 6 foot 10, so of course hes gonna be dancing around 3 metres behind the baseline out-grinding opponents like Nadal to make sure its entertaining for people like you who can't appreciate all types of tennis... quite frankly im sick of all the backcourt play and find it very refreshing whenever I watch Karlovic play his big sereve, volley, chipping and charging game. And fyi he can whack a groundie or two when he needs it!

  • Even if you read it, its still fucking hard to get it back. Facing a 230kph serve isn't fun at all.

  • Karlovic has nothing but his serve. In case someone manages to return it, he is completely confused as to what to do next and mostly just stands there.

  • If Verdasco hit it, really, is not that fast...

  • @juanluishm verdasco is a professional tennis player..... you're just some random kid sitting on a computer in his mom's house without a future.

  • @pjlballplayer10 What I mean is that a better serve would be an ace. If Verdasco (who is the receiver you ass hole) touched the ball, the serve is not that fast. You seem to be some kind of stupid guy just looking for people to bother.

  • @juanluishm The serve wasn't very close to the center line or the sideline which is why it didn't ace. Nothing to do with speed.

  • @juanluishm Has nothing to do with speed. If you serve this fast then you don't need to be accurate. Roddick also rarily aces, but because of the speed it's extremely hard for the opponent to control the return, so that Roddick can easily put it away (if it even makes it over the net, that is...)

  • wow, how slow... i can serve way faster than that

  • I bet Verdasco doesn't think this is "real tennis".

    Such a sore loser.

  • @MaratSafinVideos

The funny thing is Verdasco also possesses a big serve too, now, not to the extent of Karlovic, Roddick or Raonic (the guy Verdasco called out for not playing 'proper tennis') but it is still a shot in his arsenal. Sounds more like a hypocrite to me. But yes. Definately a loser.

  • @Th3BlackReaper Haha, I know who Raonic is, buddy. Aren't you the guy who thought Marat Safin changed his forehand grip after his 2003 wrist injury?

  • @MaratSafinVideos Well tbf in this case he's probably right, Karlovic seems to have literally nothing but a serve. If someone returns it half the time he just seems to immediately not know what to do and hits it long or wide and dumps it in to the net.

  • @TopDog69 thats basically true. he rarely has working groundstrokes, and volleys are EXTREMELY shaky

  • @MaratSafinVideos Lol I laughed, great comment

  • LOL i thought that was a video game at first O_O

  • the fact that verdasco even got a racquet on that is almost more impressive than the serve itself

  • I could have returned that

  • u hear that thing after it bounces off the ground.....too beast

  • That is unbelievable, even better than Roddick's ridiculous serves! And I thought I served quickly!

  • @toby0cooper well both can serve equally as fast, but due to his height the angle Karlovic produces makes for an awkward return. that said, Roddick is still more accurate and has changed his game a little in recent years, having moved away from focussing on serve power and going instead for accuracy. Looking at 2007 roddick, he could regularly vamp it up to 230 km/h, whereas now even at slams he'd only get up to 219 km/h for the majority of his aces/unreturned serves.

  • @imavaughanstar Don't worry, I didn't mean he serves faster than Roddick, more that the angle would make it so much harder to return. I would prefer trying to return a Roddick than a Karlovic, it seems Karlovic can get much more slice and awkward angles

  • I laughed like hell

  • Karlovich's serve is so fast the audio can't keep up with it. :)

  • kudos to verdasco as well cause he actually got his racquet on it.

  • IF i were able to make contact with his serve, my racket might implode

  • I laugh so hard every time I read a comment like Patriot2572's..

How come people can be so naive or stupid? There are loads of stupid comments, But criticising Karlovic's serve (And not noticing that the point is from THE Championships @ Wimbledon BTW) comes second only to that kid who said "My forehand is better than Federer's" or those who put up videos saying "I have Federer's backhand" and get angry if you tell them "no, you don't" =)

  • @nico89SFX well my forehand his better than his.

  • wtf at the beginning when i saw verdasco waiting for serve i thought that it was a video game of tennis

  • @cansadomehallo haha, now i know what you mean :P

  • Fuck it !!!

  • I don't know why Karlovic loses so much; when he serves his opponent's life flashes before his eyes

  • @Karnaevale LOLOL

  • lol if I would have to play karlovic, I would have my entire life nightmares about his serve!

  • @Patriot2572 i really hope u dont mean those 2 guys in the video, because i really doubt that your friend in high school (lol) could even get a point from verdasco or karlovic^^

  • @Patriot2572

    WAHAHAHAHAHA.....North Woods WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

  • @Patriot2572 LOL

  • Comment removed

  • I could return that

  • a chance to win a point against his serve is when he faults.

  • I know roddick had an 155 mph ace, that's the fasted serve ever recorded that was IN. I don't know anything about the 157 mph serve of karlovic...

  • i think roddick holds the record

  • in serve speed

  • Karlovic has hit 157mph but it was fault plus he has the fastest 2nd serve on record at 144mph

  • Lies. Karlovic's fastest serve was 153mph. Roddick's was at 155mph!

  • @Anaconda43VR i thought it was 156? no?

  • @cheekykid

and?? it just means he served a second serve flat like a first serve, the record is irrelevant.

  • he is a joke

  • by 2mph which is nothing, not to mention Karlovic serves more aces and his 153mph serve was out wide, Roddick's 155mph was down the T.

  • @ boris...roddick's 153mph at queens was also out wide. And karlovic has 8 inches on him so is roddick was 6'10 he would serve 170mph

karlovic is a decent player but i don't think he would make the top 1000 without his serve

  • Top 300 maybe but your tripping if you think that a single shot in ANY players arsenal is enough to get them 1000 places up the rankings.

  • @boris He hit 78 aces in a match and still lost. Yea he only has his serve. Maybe a volley or two.

  • It used to be the fastest serve, but now more people serve some around 140 mph. His fastest serve was indeed 155 mph, but he now serves better and around 130-140. What he showed againts federer in the wimbledon final 2009, was oustanding serving. By the way, it is not always the speed that does it, mostly the precision is the key.

  • this is faster than a blink of an eye. lol

  • whoa that ball hit the ground and took off in like half a second u would have to have crazy reaction time to return that serve

  • His serve alone can dominate

  • Wow !

  • i didn't see him even make a hard motion until it hit fernando's racquet

  • That's not a serve. That's a cannon. lol.

  • take that thing to war.

  • @yoimcrazy hahahaha that made my day

  • this guy made 78 aces today and LOST..unbeliveble

  • yeah that shows that tennis isnt just about serve & volley. and that karlovic cannot really play TENNIS (please dont hate for this ;) )

  • he can play tennis, thats just his type of tennis and thats why hes ranked like he is ;)

  • yes of course he can play tennis i just wanted to say that he won't be a top ten player anytime cause you must be an allrounder...

  • he isnt like roddick who has groundstrokes behind him

  • Well they serve differently though. Karlovic relies much more on placement than Roddick since he literally just has to hit down on the ball because of the height he makes contact. Roddick is much shorter obviously, so he can't get those short angles as easily as Ivo. But difference also is that Roddick hits the serve too fast to be able to serve and volley while Karlovic has enough time to get the net when serving.

  • Not so much anymore, you rarely see Roddick topping 140mph on serves.

  • lol you say he can play tennis when you just said "that karlovic cannot really play TENNIS" and you didnt even mention anything about being top 10

  • youre not quite smart are you?^^

anyway you didnt understand what i ment but i dont wanna explain it once more xDDD

  • lmao "that karlovic" would own about 6.7 billion people on this planet. he can play tennis.

  • yep, hes terrible at reading other players serves.

  • Powerful!

  • holly

  • why does the ball and the court have to be the same color =\

  • thats fast :P
