  • Miami rocks!

I got two Miami and it is by far the best 808 clone ever build

    cheers

  • Hmm, MFB-522 has just 4 additional parameters and the sounds and the sequencer do not fit with an 808 at all!

I am sure, that just an acidlab miami can replace an 808.

Of course, if you have an 808, the MFB will bring you different sounds.

  • @glumc

yeah, to my personal taste it sounds even better than a 808.

  • I just don't understand why he wouldn't add at least basic parameters to affect the instruments, like tune for christ sake? I mean let me tune that frickin bass drum at the very least.

I am excited but still, but I've owned plenty 808s. I mean look at the mfb-522 that is coming out, it has tons of parameters for tune, clap decay etc. just wish this miami had a tons of added features for shaping the sounds beyond 808 standards. It would be way more interesting I think.

  • and way more expensive ;)

  • @PhotoAnimationGuy

The fact that you can't tune each sound is the reason I'm not buying one.

  • Can't wait..can't wait...can't wait!

  • Hey, congrat on the new machine!!!

I just want to give you a tip;) A colour theme of black and orange would look realy nice on this type of machine. Just like the old Roland analog drum machines and fx units from early 80s.

    Cheers:)
