This was the solution to all our problems,if this system had been employed over here,then the Westerns/Warships/Hymeks would all have been able to haul the latest Stock.Therefore they would not have been that tragic waste of Brilliant Locomotives because of their Transmission differences.A lot of other class could have been turned into Top Link Locomotves as well.The 37s springs to mind.Instead of a struggling class 31 with ETH a 37 with Generator car would have romped over any type of line.
