you said when you were meditating laying down during the evening, your body seemed liked it was moving. That sounds like an out-of-body-experience. That experience you had sounded kinda disturbing, i wonder if meditation leads to something dark??
@rabzero01 Yes it does. The Occult is tied in with Meditations. You allow spirits in when you mess with this stuff. Just as someone who murders someone allows a Murderous Spirit to take over. Majority of Violent Victims Have Been Quoted as having said the assailant had "EVIL" or "SATAN" or "MURDER" in their eyes. Hence the Eyes are the Window of the Soul. , after all!
my thoughts on lucid dreaming is there is a battle going on within some of us, good vs evil, and if you are aware enough in your dreams you can win that battle....
Meditation is greate, if done properly the mind calms down and you'll experince the the cosmic energy that governs all things... however rember that Nicotine is a stimulant and would couse wired dreams. Many times during weed sessions I have meditated and became sober.
Okay, I am no one to you and I am by no means in any position to dictate what you should do, but I would like to give you my opinion. You spoke of feeling as though you were floating , but sort of in place. If you have begun meditating again, try to open your third eye( not your physical ones - that would defeat the purpose) and look back down at yourself. You CAN control your movement. The government has employed individuals in the past to use this technique to spy on other countries.
Your experience of the rumbling sounds very much like what some Christians describe as the Holy Ghost Baptism. Most Christians will not agree. I've had the same rolling thunder and ego shattering experience almost 20 years ago. Since then I've concentrated on tranquility and insight meditation and on being mindfull regarless of bodily or mental activity. The silence (lack of discursive thinking) can happen at will and in a seconds if you keep on practicing. Journey on, it is fully worth it.
Good. if you can control your mind you are the king of kings. BUT its not that easy. A perfict living master is a must if you want to reach the source. you may reach a stage without a guru but its not the source (God). Meditation is a real prayer and eliminating what stands between us and the father. it is the same thing that jesus, budha and all saints talk about (Go within and your body shall be full of light). Keep meditating and satguru ji will find you
I really liked this. Very original! I've been doing meditation for about 4 years now and I try several different ways. I have experienced it in a similar way to this at times, mainly when trying to astrally project. I quit astrally projecting for about a year because of an experience I had that was very negative. I haven't projected since but have recently gone back to some of my earlier types of meditation.
Landing into your SELF ^^ I Haven't been there yet.
And yes, for some reason(an ego construct, collective pessimism, don't know really) it seems we spend more body energy while on deep meditation than on living "normal" life. After those six hours I slept twenty four hours straight =p Cutting down to what's really important: that initial feeling of being cut off is VERY weird, but seems VERY true and very close to something, doesn't it ? KEEP PUSHING FORWARD ^^
I can't say anything because I've never been past it, but feel it is the last place before the landing.I've reached it on my first try on meditation a few days ago, but I didn't get past it after six hours or so.Fact it is that when I stood up, I could see energy, auras, weird lines connecting people on the street and so on.
Keep trying, brother.Really do.We need to Awaken once and for all, to be able to connect to each other's minds back again before our time here is gone.
I fell out of the habit of meditating years ago as I felt I was to cut off from the "real world" or the world that is manifest. It does strange things to meditate so deep so often. But I think I'm ready to start again!
Interested in what you mean about the lsast place before the landing? never heard that expression before? Whats the landing?
Dude, that's nuts. I had a sort of similar experience, but it was me meditating within a dream.
Please do start meditating again. I need to get back into it, too. The only time I really have time is at a stoplight, for say 5 seconds, or the few other times during the day when my subconscious calls to me, and I can close my eyes for 1-2 minutes...but this isn't enough for anyone, really.
Have you practiced insight meditationm?

Why not just ignore thoughts altogether? This, BTW, is contrary to what Eckhardt Tolle advised in "The Power of Now."
