That THING wasn't glitches for me...how did u do it??? Well, for me, wht happened was a brought it to a bump on the ground (I don't know how and this is my first time playing Skyrim) and it was trying to get me but the way I was positioned, the frost troll wasn't allowed to get me or something. Like there was a wall between me and the troll. So I was laughing my head off oh my god so funny! So I just waited for my magic to recharge, used some arrows but ran out, didn't want to use my sword cuz

Or go to the College of winterhold and buy tomes from the expert wizards there.

You get free robes and the college questline gives you a "ton" of mage gear throughout.

When I got done being killed by that troll the 2nd time I decided to use the fun and exciting strategy of trying to run on almost no stamina while trying to slow him down with my shouts.. Took well over 5 minutes to run then back pedal and shout repeatedly up those damn stairs lol..
