no emotions just note playing like a robot . this may seem "virtuoso" but it is not hard of this age with concentration and practice to play this song. when he is playing the notes have no meaning i just hear banging sound against the keyboard
-taught by usc professor and attend usc / juliard school of music
like seriously? i love how people put the AGE of the performer in the title of the video... its so funny. I dont care if you play liebestraume at the age of 5, if its not good, its not good. Anyone can learn the notes.
Look at me im 12, i play a high level piece, judge me with a lower standard please >_>.
Talented people dont need to post shit all over youtube to get recognized. Fame comes from talent, talent doesnt come from fame.
@jemokjemok Excuse me, but all of his videos doesn't show music sheets before him. Can you play this difficult pieces like he does? His memory is just EXCELLENT! His talent is beyond question. Are you not amazed when someone has earned a doctorate degree at a very very young age because they have superior IQ's? Isn't that amazing and exceptional? Therefore, AGE DO MATTER. To those who cannot give positive comments, sorry to you but your insecurities have betrayed you.
@jemokjemok Enzo is the envy of many including you because he is blessed with so much talent than others. He is born to be famous. He is impressive without really trying to impress. Why not detach yourself from the impious clutch of bitterness, frustration and insecurities. I have this feeling that Enzo may have outplayed you in a piano competition with gives reason for your exasperation in life. Move on and look for a new horizon.
@jemokjemok Why not look at the positive side of life instead of brooding and blinding yourself on bitterness, frustration and insecurities. Your rendition of Liszt's Libestraum at your age of 29, contrary to your claim you are 12, pales in comparison with Enzo at his age of 12 . You have only 2 videos posted against the numerous high level pieces in behalf of Enzo.. Show proof that you are worthy of comparison with him.
@jemokjemok . If you are not sure of your words, prudence dictates to better keep quiet lest your very own words may backfire on you. Again Enzo is an envy of many including you! The Philippines take pride of him as the pride of the Malay race, believe it or not! "The truth will set us free!" Eat your heart out!
Wow! That is really good! I can see the improvement from the video @ 10yrs., especially in the voicing, cadenzas, and ending. I don't know what to say -- it's good!
A really, really beautiful performance of a really, really beautiful piece! Congratulations on your success so far. Best of luck in your future with piano!!
Everyone is like "technique is important" (it is, OK?) Anyone (except me) can get technique! What money cannot buy though is musicality. This is not musicality. This super-duper-extra-musicality. Liszt owes you a dinner for making his piece just that little bit more famous. He's not around, so I will buy you that dinner one day! Just name the country and restaurant - then we go to the Opera! (And not a boring Opera, either!!) Your teacher is great. I would dream of having such a student.
You have such a rare gift, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T STOP! Master your craft even more, do something great with it, and show the world what a rare gem your are.
I have to admit I didn't care for the lack of dynamic contrast on the first 2 pages, but, then you really showed an amazing sensitivity and tremendously smooth technique. Your pedaling is also extreamly well done. I used to butcher this piece when I was your age but, you play it masterfully overall.
Heya Enzo ;-) You just keep getting better and better, don't you!? ;) I love the rubato's. Not an easy piece at all, this one. Good job dude - I hope your love for playing stays with you!
i envy you, but in a good way. not so much of envy, i should say adore. i'm two years older than you, and i started 3 months ago. my goal is to play like you, but i'll give myself at least 3 years to achieve that goal
Hey, that's cool i started playing by ear at 12. I didn't start taking lessons until i was 30 thou. i'm 34 now. Any advice? probaly take me another 10 yrs. to be able to play this.
I'm not japanese, but as far as i know, the adjective "cute" is "Kawaii" instead of "Kawai". "Kawa" means "the river" and "i" is "to meet". The two words combines into a surname which I guess means the influx of rivers or something, not sure... Last but not least, amazing performance and keep it up!
The fact you are able to play Liszt is a statement unto itself.
Liszt himself was left-handed so as a result, his music demands a lot of left-handed work and that has proven to be a challenging obstacle to a lot of pianists. You rose to the challenge very well.
Enzo, you are very very special young pianist. I just couldn't believe my eyes seeing you playing so good and so mature at this young age. Keep up good work, and remember PERFECTION, seeking perfection forever, trying to play better and better. There is always a way for improvement in order to be the best pianist in the world, and you will!
Wonderful performance! Loved the lightness and sensitivity...most people your age play this piece with too heavy a hand but you executed it perfectly! 5 out of 5 !!
i dont deny hes impossibly execellent for his age but please dont elevate him to the same level plane as the masters. in a few yaers maybe but definitely not now
Obviously Enzo is becoming much better with time. His version of Liebestraum is one of the best now in YouTube, for all ages, including the pros. 10/10 if possible!!!!!
Wow, you REALLY have matured musically. This sounds WONDERFUL!!!!! I've seen you play on your other ones and I love seeing you grow musically as you get older. What a joy! As for the Kawai, I LOVE those pianos! I had an opportunity to fool around on a couple of them a few weeks ago and I'm not exaggerating when I say I had to hold tears back due to its majestic and rich sound. I like them way better than the Steinways. I want to buy a Kawai within the next year or so. They're EXCELLENT pianos!!
Amazing!! I didn't want to listen to this because I'm trying to learn it. That's not a kid's interpretation.. very mature. Once you get older you will make people cry with this piece. It's already better than some of the so called 'popular pianists'.
jero just to a reply on ur comment steinway and sons aren't the best piano's in the world for list most ppl play on a bösendorfer what also is a great company aswell as blüthner for the melodics steinway is just very well known and plays very well (played on a few steinway's myself) however about the pedals idk :p like them more when there not so direct :p well anyway nice performance technicaly however musicality will come with the years trust me :)
I kind of agree with you, but I guess in the end it;'s down to personal preference. I love playing Liszt on Steinways personally
Enzo: This is much improved, loads more musical than previous performances, but you need more control over the cadenzas, they're a bit too manic at the moment =)
I also agree with you it's mainly with personal preferences but some piano's just got that warm sound if u know what i mean but anyway it's right what u say. Personal preference all the way.
Oh, my God, that's absolutely impressive!! So beautiful!!! Your interpretation is so great. We always wish the best to such a talented person! Congrats, and great day and week for the great Enzo! :D
