  • Epic!

  • This is inspiring,,,!!

  • what kind of riding style is thisssss??? :) it's truly amazing!!

  • @LoveofHorses4ever Raining

  • @petewentzlover101010 thank you :)

  • @LoveofHorses4ever yourwelcome

  • THIS is riding. :')

  • cool

  • now that horse has a lot of trust in that woman. the horse is also very well trained. the woman has great balance and is a great rider!

  • very, very, very good.

  • This is the most impressive horse video I have discovered so far. What a fantastic couple! Complete harmony and trust between horse and rider without any supportive equipment. This video should be mandatory for all those "top" dressage riders that use hyperflexion to render their horses helpless and dominated by the rider. This horse would do ANYTHING for its rider with joy. You can tell the horse is having a grand time!

  • what was great more then great Very Skilled horse

  • oh my gosh. wellll done:)!

  • wow that girl can ride lol

  • A very skilled horse indeed, but, with respect, most any reining trained horse is capable of these maneuvers. I have seen this video a few times and what strikes me the most is the incredible skill of the *rider*! I have been riding since I was three, and would give most anything for that level of horsemanship skill. You can tell by the way Wizard's Babydoll licks his lips that yields to her that he trusts her completely.

  • Amazing - absolutly amazing..

  • american paints are really made for this, nice job!

  • This videoclip proves once more that riding is NOT pulling reins so that the bit hurts the horses mouth, NOT kicking the horse like mad in his sensitive belly, NOT hitting the shit out of him with a whip coz he undertstood a command wrongly,

but the fine play of the riders legmuscle, slight shifting of sittig position& weight, lots of soft training and tons of trust & love !!

  • that's ROXY!!

  • wow. a little speechless.

all i know is if i did that on the horse i usually ride, i wouldn't live to see tomorrow. especially if i stood on his back, he's buck me off. Although, we have mastered the art of following me around the arena and walking backwards...

but that's just amazing, such good trust.

  • thats pretty sweet!!!

  • ITS NOT A MAD HORSE! ITS JUST A HORSE PINNING ITS EARS. HORSES DO THAT SOMETIMES!

  • This is incredible!

  • At first when I saw the title and the thumbnail (I'm a huge Stacy Westfall fan, so I've watched this performance on other videos millions of times) I thought you meant that her horse was misbehaving! You might want to change the title to something more formal like "Stacy Westfall Championship Reining" or "Stacy Westfall and Horse" Or even "Awesome Horse." Don't want to give people the wrong idea.

  • Just proves you don't need a piece of metal in the horses mouth to convey a message

  • @BABYNIKKIXOXOXOXO, with this particular horse, anyway.

  • She is beautiful. The talent and bond of both horse and rider as if they are one thing. I love the feeling you get when you train a horse to do this type of stuff. It's so much better than some regular dressage show.

  • this is one great example of a bond. me and my horse cud do stuff like this. we used to go for a gallop with no tack and it is a gr8 feeling! the thrill and adrenalin! and it just shows tat all the work u put in to form a bond really pays off x

  • This is more beautiful than every britisch dressage ever can be.

Ehm i think she can ride...just a little bit :P

  • absolutly beautiful!!

i remember me and my horse had a strong bond and were able do stuff simular to that, but she has way more talent when we had.. i was i kept him now so i could've progressed and shown everyone on my yard how it was done! :) <3

  • wow that is so awsome what the horse and rider do !!!!! whats the horse name again?

  • wow that is so awsome what the horse and rider do !!!!!

  • beautiful

  • This is an amazing video I saw it years ago!

    Very well done(:

  • Its amazing what trust and balanced can do isn't it ?:]<3

  • wow the rider did well to stay on!!

  • That truly was an AMAZING video!

  • She is incredible and if I ever need cheering up I watch this

  • I want that horse!

  • That is amazing *__*

  • that is amzing that eeds alot of understanding trust companion ship! amazing you must have worked your butt off to train him :) thaT WAS AMAZING gave me goosebumbs watching you :P

  • good you good ent you hros

  • my horse can do that too!!!!

  • This is great!

  • 3 people have never ridden a horse!

  • its not about training your horse, its about trust, this horse is an exceptional example and clearly loves and wants to protect his rider, who respects her wonderful horse, this video is truly amazing.

  • WOW es ist so schön zu sehen wie es auch sein kann

weit weg voll rollkur, zwang und "sportgetät" einfach nur toll

wenn man sowas mit seinem pferd machen kann dann hat man es geschafft

  • amazing!!!

  • RESPECT

  • amazing horse!

  • @therachinator36 I totally agree

  • beautiful horse

  • Cant watch this video without getting tears in my eyes :) Beautifull!!!

  • This is incredible! I think it's amazing she is dedicating this to her father, we all know he is very proud of her! This is beautiful, the routine and horse! :D

  • have you noticed that she was using spurs ......... she didn't use her leg at all except to hang to fuck on but she used her spurs for everything else

  • Its not just a skilled horse its a skilled rider. ya no how hard it is to ride reinless? its pretty hard

  • I was there when she did this ride...it was awesome!

  • @BBMPOPLERIDGEGALS do u have an AQHA

  • Comment removed

  • I don't know why I'm tearing up ...:)

  • @bonnieb118 its ok the first time i saw this well all the time this video makes my eyes a lil teary

  • Best horse skills ever!!!!

  • @kewliokate Best rider skills ever too

  • absolutely amazing horsmanship! It almost made me cry!

  • Wonderfull to see!!

  • she must have worked really wel with the horse and had a good connection with it

  • that sliding stop was amazing! i ish i could do that! now that is what i call a magnificent horse :D

  • when she started galloping i got chills! not kidding! it was perfect timeing!!!!!!!!!! i wanna be able to do wat she did! nice skids!!!! my horse can let me stand on him! my horse cant bow though....im teaching him though...

  • WOW!! =O

  • awsome video! I wish i could do tht!

  • What a fantastic animal... <3 Gorgeous shape, amazing move and the joy of doing that hard stuff, the connection between a woman and a horse... Just lovely.

  • WOW!!!

  • prachtig!!!!!!

  • wow........ my horse would just stand there like 'wait, what am i suppused to do?' hhahah thats really cool... i wish i could do that....

  • @lemonysnicket100 haha yeah mine too

  • well done!!! Ive been shoeing horses for 30 years and it takes a lot to impress me! well done!!

  • It the basic rules of western equitation without the saddle, its all done by weight, and leg, nothing utterly amazing about it, millions of poeple can do that with their horses if they are schooled correctly, she is a bloody good rider, and the horse obviously trusts her which is wonderful to see, but my horse trusts me and I can ride and my horse does it, hes a quarter horse. Although I agree standing on the horses back is a bit much...

  • @celticlass04 why is standing on the horses back abit 2 much, cuz i used 2 do it when i went volting wid my cusion, the horse didnt seem 2 mind.

  • @celticlass04 cum ooon hey... don´t be like that ! It takes so much time to practise that and I tough that was very amazing ! I could never do that and I´m a rider too.

  • @Miiiileena But it is basic rules of equitation, yes I agree its amazing to watch, I think I said that, but nothing to turm yourself inside out over, and I dont think she should stand on the horses back with her boots on is all, why doesnt she wear pumps or bare feet? And of course you could do it, with time and practice if you have balance and know your horses gaits and you trust each other, you can do it.

  • trust and respect

    well done

  • @MarieLustig yea u have to have trust with the horse and guts to ride like that!!!!!

  • @MarieLustig yea u have to have trust with the horse and guts to ride like that!!!!! I would give her a perfect score of a 10

  • trust and respect

    well done

  • oh my gosh, fantastic work! o__o

  • She's awesome!

    Give her a break!!!

  • thats really good!! no not good-awesome!!!!

But in the end, when she is at the back, I do not like, because that is harmful for the back of the horse

  • hopefully she only rides it without the saddle in the shows.

  • @pikkparis why? its actually better for the horse to ride bareback than adding extra weight for the sake of comfort...

  • @LittleMustangMare I've thought about that too, but what if you compared it to a backpack? If you had 40kg hanging on your back and the shoulderstraps were two iron rods, I think that would be very uncomfortable. Especially if you had to run with it.If you had invested in a good backpack with proper straps and a surface that would spread the weight, it would be way more comfortable. with proper equipment, you wouldn't feel much difference on the weight. Human butts are not that soft :P

  • @pikkparis well i do ride with a bare back pad its about 4inches of well woven and fluffed sheep wool with a woven top for me to sit on and a 'saddle horn' of woven nylon it still has a girth and a place to grip and it adds some padding for my butt and the horses back so its kinda like....a canvas bookbag with only your first period books instead of a book bag with 1-4th period and everything else in it as well it works the same weighs less feels better XDD

  • @LittleMustangMare Haha :P Well that one I believe is comfortable. I would love to have a "saddle" like that if I had my own horse.

  • I saw this live its awsome and parelli is not that good ti me any way i think this is just an amazing bond between a horse and rider

  • She needs to work on those rollbacks. Ha Ha! Just kidding, pretty amazing!

  • great job! I could never do this and beautiful horse!!!

  • thats a very well trained horse and she uses her thighs and balance and i could ride my horse nothing on it to just hes a bareel horse not a reining horse and thats defently stacy westfall and roxy there one of the best reining team that ive evr seen

  • Wow !

  • wow this is such a clever, talented horse. the rider was good too lol

  • OMG itssss amazzziiiiiinnnnnnnggggg O_o

  • Its Stacy and Roxy...not Parelli.

  • This is nearly the exact same performance from the Native American rider and horse at Arabian Nights. Was that an inspiration? Because its my favorite part of the show

  • thats called parelli

  • lmao...Parelli couldn't do that on his Best day

  • That's deffinately NOT parelli..

    That's Stacy Westfall and Roxy

  • @mightysteelzipper i believe boxerboy and others who might have commented on the parelli part were saying that the training was parelli not the rider...though they would be partially wrong seeing as parelli is used to train compleatly wild 2yr olds and up to be outstanding riders that is natural horsemanship at its best ^_^

  • that horse has better brakes than my truck

  • i think the sliding halts are the most impressive

  • Leg and seat. It is hard to understand, but, you don't ride with your hands.

  • nice looking horse, me and my horse do that all the time, only i always fall over when i stand up and ask him 2 wa;k lol, my horse is 15.2hh black lustaino stallion called Dark Magic :)

  • OMG ur so lucky to have a lustaino

  • I love Stacy and Roxy!

  • its amazing !!!

  • i love riding bareback and bridaless its well fun

  • this is truley fantastic horsemanship. what a close bond they must have.

  • eek, white pants?

i bet they looked purdy after riding

    i kno mine do!

    lol

    :D

  • :).

    I Love This Video.

If people think that riding is a pussy sport, get them to watch this. Cause this is AMAZING. I'd like to see them do it. It almost made me cry, cause thats something special you have with a horse like that.. (L)

  • Tim McGraw <3

  • OMG!!! Crazy horse. awsome

  • that is really good

i can ride this one horse like that if i get a little energy out of her or else shell run me into the arena pole like she did the first time i rode her

ill get a cedio of it and post it on here when i have it

but this is good!!!! defenetly a good rider

  • very skilled horse and very very skilled rider

  • ya, its not hard.

  • Soooo, when are we going to see a video of you doing what she did, hmmm. Just dying to see your amazing technique. I'm sure it's waaaay better than Stacey

  • um i bet u dont hav that kind of bond wit ur horses! U seem 2 be the only 1 who doesnt think so! ddddddddaaaaaaa

  • @barrelracer1995081 okay 1 im aware you posted this a year ago 2 its leg pressure L.E.G not foot 3 its certain not surtent....thats super fail btw that you miss spelled it THAT badly. 4 um why say DA did you mean dur or duh? and last but most likely not least its the fact that she not only rode bareback and bridleless but that she did so well also its that it is a tribute ride for her deceased father. also some people on here don't have time to train themselves to do this.(continuing this)

  • @barrelracer1995081 also you don't have to train a horse to do this, this is natural horsemanship going on balance and direction of movement of horse and rider not so much on pressure and physical control..okay rant done now unless you say more unnecessary and or incorrect things that are begging to be fixed such as gramatical errors or misleading/incorrect word useage..also not going to count punctuation cause it uses too many characters to always punctuate XP

  • *_*

  • this is beautiful! If you can do this you can RIDE!

  • Now that is art...

  • Not sure why people comment and say the horse didnt like this or that, or critisize Stacy's riding. Jelousy maybe?? Horses dont always pin their ears not out of madness. Roxy is licking her lips the whole time she is riding.

  • that was so sad but it was great sorry about your lose your score should be the topp of all

  • can I make tish onw of my videos and Ill put ur name in it sayin this is ur video

    ?????

  • I love horsesback riding I ride the biggest horses in the stable and I am so small

  • Wow, that is actually amazing.

    xx

  • wow...:)

  • I can't do flyin changes with a saddle

I WISH I COULD RIDE LIKE THAT!

  • Amazing what a bond this horse and rider must have!!

  • this is amazing!

  • wow shes amazing!!!!!!

  • ROXY ! <--horse's name

this is the best horse ever! she lives like 5 minutes south from me :) she's amazing

  • say hi from me! lol

  • what song is this. I like it

  • that was just a flawless ride it should be titled AMAZING FREE STYLE RIDE

  • wow..thats like..officially the most amazing thing ive ever seen. :]

  • actually the crossing of the legs is simple to teach to a horse. my friend taught it to her horse in one lesson. someone on the ground would push the horse and the rider will squeeze their leg on the same side as the person and after 4 tries generally the horse learns it.

  • A friend gave me this video awhile back -- jaw dropping stuff!

I didn't like the fact that she did sliding stops WITHOUT wraps on the horse's back legs, that was not smart. (The horse clearly did not enjoy that.) But she still is probably one of the most skilled bareback riders I've seen yet.

    Skillz!!!

  • @DjEndurancE i'm not sure but i believe that she used black wraps on the back legs for this since she was going for the all nat. look or pure/nude look as some people call it not sure since i haven't seen any of her shows in person and youtube quality seems to suck on most horse vids XD and its not that roxy didn't like it she was just concentrating because before she sped up she was licking and chewing...so she was more like ok after this whats she supposed to ask again.... lol.

  • wut song?

  • wow, that's amazing. that horse is GOOD!

i wonder how long it took for the horse to learn all that?

    =]

  • No lol the horse isn't mad, its slang meaning like "mad skills" or when skaters say "Dude that trick was mad!"

wow Stacy westfall is an amazing rider she's in the top three western legends.

  • that horse wasn't mad....

  • amazin

  • horse: "this is my impretion of a washing machine" hhaaaaa.....

  • BAhahaha!!

  • good very good perfeckt

  • You are an inspiration!

  • that not me but thanx i just put it on there..

  • @Teagzrox how is it mad

  • @horsesaremylife31899 i think its refering to it like ya know mad horse skillz only as the horse is just doing as its told and it WAS awsome so its like that was a mad horse....i don't know if im explaining this right hehe...

  • @LittleMustangMare You have to think. How hard does stacey have to work to make that horse to do that.

  • @peacelovepony suprisingly not that hard anymore her and that horse have a strong bond now its more like she gets up and points her torso in the direction she wants to go or leans back in her seat to make her back up idk if you can see it in this vid its been a while since i watched it all the way through but the horse is licking and chewing during the slow easy parts she doesn't really have to concentrate cause she knows stacey has it, its not till she has her canter tight or gallop she thinks

  • @LittleMustangMare umm to make that horse turn and back and they way she wants it to go she uses her legs to do that trust me i have an AQHA too thats how they want u to do it u use your legs u dont lean back or whatever u use your legs more us does the some thing

  • @peacelovepony there is not set way to ride bareback....and if you use too much leg the horse will eventually begin ignoring it thats why I personaly use nat. horsmanship. its about talking to your horse through movement not pressure infact its teaching the horse to move without needing pressure i have many horses QH's arabs paint ponys drafts and i taught them all with Nat horsemanship and i barely ever have to use leg to get them to do as i say just slight movement of my hips and torso.

  • @LittleMustangMare You are right about talking to the horase my horse will do that but an easyer way for the rider is to use your legs so u tell the horse to go the right way

  • @peacelovepony it is only easier for a person who has alot of lower body strenght both in their waist and leg i train my horses for kids and adults with either scoliosis or that are compleatly paralized from the waist down also for smaller people not little kids alone but smaller people its harder to control with just the leg or even mainly leg thats why i find no leg to be the best except for when doing things such as a sliding stop and then they are actually taught to ignore the leg

  • @mconnors01 The girl in this video is staceywestfall if u go on my friends list she is my friend
