  • If only people commenting here were more like this song: laid back, witty, and with a knack for the sarcastic.

  • I like all the people leaving comments who don't understand sarcasm or jokes....They must not be North Americans.

  • Delta's in-flight magazine said "If you like David Bowie, you will like LCD Soundsystem." After hearing this and a couple other songs by them, I am going to respectfully disagree... David Bowie made amazing fucking music, this is shit.

  • @KimbosBeard I wouldnt say it's shit, but yea, I wouldnt compare them either.

  • are yuz retarded it obviously wasnt filmed on the moon,, wtf

  • Dude that is so f'ing cool they got to go to the moon and film this video!

  • @erieeric DuDE i really doubt they actually went to space and filmed brand new footage. The moon footage is actually from the orignal moon landing in 1969.....

  • Wow, I remember this music when it was being done by Lou Reed, and Cake, and Pavement, and...

  • RON & FEZ XM 202 11AM ET!!!!!!!

  • I love illuminati music.

  • @planetery everyone should. : D

  • yeah boy

  • drama drama drama... youtube comments give me a headache.

  • AND YOU HAVE TO CALL ME NIGHT HAWK

  • lol I love America and Europe. Except I have been pickpocketed 3 times in France. Pissed me off

  • I those of you who still think we're from england, we're not (no).

  • "YOU CAN CALL ME DRAGON"

  • @heythere9285 YOU HAVE TO CALL ME.....NIGHTHAWK

  • AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!

  • Not to be a dick, but im tired of reading kids arguing with trolls, just ignore them, and stop taking life so seriously.

Chill, it's music not something that was written to be bitched about.

  • Is the best ...I live in South America and I think the song suits them to American culture that has invaded all areas ....

  • @doctatu Invaded all areas? Look up your history on your American computer and you will find out that we have never invaded a country. Then look up Britain, Spain's history and you will find who invaded South America.

  • - Hey..

    - Hey... i'm Brennan

    - I'm Dale.. but you have to call me Dragon.

    - You have to call me Night Hawk

  • anyway, LCD is great

  • greetings from europe

  • all of you american are scum, joke, joke, killing joke:)

  • joke:)

  • @photolitherland

In my ears it does, and I think its the main reason that theyre hyped.

It wasn't to offend anybody but I'm amazed that they get so much hype compared to a lot of other bands in the genre.

  • AH HOLY SHIT! I thought this song was in Step Brothers! I need to watch the credits more often

  • Sounds like a mix between Lenny Kravitz, The Streets, RObbie Williams and Cake, pheeww, do not Like

  • I know a lot of you are trying to prove a point, but the only thing you're proving is your own ignorance.

In general generalizations make you look generally retarded.

  • ahem to all the ppl who say canadians or (northamericans) we are not actually scum we are just like every one else in the world just not as ignorant, ireally like the song tho

  • @yubinsostupid1

North America isn't just Canada, it's the USA as well man.

  • @stevoelmo MEXICO TOO YOU DUMBASS!!! lol jkjk

  • @yubinsostupid1 Touche.

  • second that dude..punk is fuckin dead long live punk....anarchy in music comes from the satellite of life itself, its a god which knows no idols....BUT US

  • @NerdInAnoraks Most of them are. In concern of the US: the only thing thas holds that country together is arrogance, the language en the flag. In random order. And a stupid thing called religion.

I live in a nation where you can say out loud you aren't religious at all. More than 40% says so. A total of 60% isn't active in church. In a hypocrite nation like the US people say they are religious (what is the % of atheists in the US?).

  • @Festivum01 16-17 percent. and it's the the third biggest and fastest growing religion in America. just because America is portrayed as zealous, arrogant country in the media doesn't mean everybody in America is a religious dick.

  • @Festivum01 Not everyone is this country (I presume you mean the USA) is a dick. Just the people you hear about. That said, were no Australia, but even still, were not that mean. And Canada is awesome, so don't be ripping on them. I bet nobody even thought about Canada when commenting on this video. LCD Soundsystem mentions Canada exactly once at the end of the song.

  • @mrpenguinismyhomeboy GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CANADA!!!!!!!!!

  • It be the ruskies! haha awesome song

  • they are really scum

  • @KrewJJ F@#$ YOU!

  • step brothers!!!!

  • @NatashaSikyta THANK YOU. I thought I knew this one from somewhere :D

  • It's obviously a metaphor about the Cold War space race... or about the use of kitchen paper to make space suits.

  • 3:31 oh great, you opened up a hole in the fabric of space and time and killed us all, i hope your happy.

lol, just kidding. Great music and epic video.

  • Este gordito cada vez mas se mueve en base a lo que diran los criticos yanquis de él. Tiene unas ganas de que le den un Grammy...

  • americans are racists.

  • @SamuBolado

Gee, thanks for not generalizing there!

  • @Abadacus sorry, most of them

  • lol this song is funny

  • Some of my English friends use this song against me, as proof that even 'my people' understand that we're all useless. The majority of them are not joking. I'm surrounded by idiots.

  • @NerdInAnoraks your english friends are right

  • NASA nort american scum agency

  • very cool. going to newbury comics to buy it. it seems fucked not to hold the music i want in my sweaty little hands! lime wire is cool though-lol

  • fuckin yankee

  • shut ur face or we'l blow you up and not invite u to heaven.

  • lol.

  • newbury comics? must be a damned yankee

  • Boston boy! lol -take care

  • btw, the amazon link could be improved. when you click thru there, it lists the song and says, 'price not available'

you have to click on the band name, then pick the song from the list.

that order info for that song should be right there on the amazon landing when you click the link here. (i almost thought it was a broken link, i would other click-thrus might be lost because of that confusion as well).

  • lol, who BUYS music?

  • People who aren't complete dick biters.

  • CapitolMusic, you guys get it, brilliant - you have links to buy the song.

An additional revenue stream you could try would be to upgrade the viewing experience for this video to 16-bit sound, for user's who pay a modest sum, only when they're logged in.

Think about it, it's a win-win - no downloads (ie, no risk to you), and viewers get an even better experience.

A good price for this might be $0.99, since the user isn't really leaving with anything. That would sell well, I wager.

  • THE BEST LCD song ever! Saw them in Atlanta a while back and when they played this song, the crowd (small crowd) went NUTS!!! I finally got my copy of this cd. YAY!!!

  • thanx for sending it, it reminds me of something, i dont know what?

  • This is a really good album, and most of you seem angry. I'm sorry about your brain being smaller than your tiny penises...

  • i have seen worse but it is kina catchy so its not that bad

  • I.. love you

  • what is going on here, i go on the internet and this is where it brings me. FUCK YOU PEOPLE!

  • people like you are idiots. you think that music has to conform to some set of rules, has to met your standards of what is valid. you act like some music is valid because it has a message that you think represents your ideas. guess what rtard, music is meant to be varied and enjoyed for the sake of itself, nothing more. if someone likes it that does not make them inferior or a poser. however, your ideas make yousimply a dick.

  • eatadick

  • @jamesjdm YYYYYESS YOUR COOL

  • @jamesjdm

Some types of music almost need a message, punk for example... Try listening to any shitty punk band of today, none of them have the passion that was present in the 70s. Like the crappy american punk bands such as green day or blink182, there just isn't a point. What do they have to rebel against? Grunge had a message, at least Kurt Cobain thought so. This isnt a message of hate and anger and was written in a fairly pleasant tone.. Sorry.. i have an ocd.

  • Today's American punk bands are soft, entitled, spoiled little fucks, like the guys in Green Day. I so want to beat the shit out of the lead singer of Green Day. Little American fuckwit.

  • @whitekuduone

Out of interest: soft, entitled, spoiled little fucks compared to who?

  • @jamesjdm

I'm a music composition major in college and I completely agree with you. I really don't like when people trash another type of music because they do it for completely illegitimate reasons. Can't wait to see LCD and HotChip in Milwaukee!!

  • @jamesjdm i completely agree with you with the exceptions of lil wayne, kanye west, asher roth, drake and hoodie allen. im convinced none of them have any artistic integrity and are simply out for attention and success ;d

  • @jamesjdm Agree.
