I saw this performance in Davenport,Ia. & it was unbelievable!!!!!! I was so impressed with Randy Jackson & George Citron ROCKED!!!!!!:) w/the orchestra/lights/rock band it was a great experience..............
Now that you mention the Zep reunion, he is the only guy i can see as their singer and still call them Led Zeppelin, anyone else would not do justice to the bands legacy.
thanks for sharing this. I saw Randy last night in West Palm Beach, Fla. He and the band really ROCKED the house. Not only is he a great singer, but great guitar player as well. I'd definitely go see him perform at the Led Zep reunion tour.
I agree with you guys in Randy being an excellent choice to not fill the shoes of Robert Plant, but give his work due respect and keep true to the sound while pleasing fans of Led Zeppelin music. Randy has matured as all singers and musicians do and would fit in comfortably with the band. His talent, age, and experience would mesh brilliantly into the completion of the band and not draw attention away from the music. I would like to think that Mr. Plant would give his blessing.
Randy would clearly be the right choice for vocalist for Page, Jones and Bonham. If they wanted the sounds to sound faithful to the original arrangements. There wouldn't be a need to retool any songs (In my opinion)
This is a great show. I've seen it once and hope to see it again this year. George on guitar is awesome and Randy ... what can you say. One of the best vocalists of all time.
After seeing Page & Plant do a meek version of Kashmir in the 90's... It was glorious to see Led Zeppelin bring the power to this song on Dec. 10, 2007. I think Kashmir should either be all ROCK or all Symphonic, and never a hybrid version.... Never
