0:25, look at the left eye. I see white in the eye and I see fear in his eyes.
0:35, look at where that lion's paw is, certainly NOT on the saddle. Look all all the ripped cloth on that saddle. Now imagine those claws on the horse's back.
Just like Lionsilverwolf said, these horses aren't acting afraid of the animals on their backs! There are what I guess you would call "saddles" that protect the horses from the claws of their riders, so as not to injure them.
Also to AndDatHowDaStoryGoes: The average male lion doesn't exceed 550 lbs/250 kg. The average tiger doesn't exceed 670 lbs/306 kg. And the average Sun Bear (which is the species featured) doesn't exceed 154 lbs/70kg. Horses are quite strong animals remember ;)
Good lord people in the comments, you guys are insane. If the horses were scared they'd be salivating, their ears would be facing the animals and/or we'd see the whites of their eyes. You gonna tell me that every single shot just HAPPENED to not catch ANY of that? Also, way to be racist down there in the comments. Congratulations.
some people complain when they see a fat person on a horse that looks a little to small for them, but i guarantee that lion is around 500 pounds..now thats cruel!
I wish Chinese, Koreans and any other slanty eyed mongrel race of sub humans never had animals, birds, bugs, fish and every other living form of life in their countries. Those heathens don't deserve them. Let them live on vegies or bloody die.
yeh terrible aye, and the real problem is people taking their kids to these things so the kids will grow up believing its ok creating a never ending problem
They violently take of the claws and canines of the lions and tigers :( and look at 1:57 how the metal thing holding the platform is going deap in the poor pony's body :'(
menschen quälen tiere und zwingen sie zu sachen die niemals so in der natur vorkommen nur um ein paar minuten sich amüsieren zu können..traurig einfach
That chestnut pony and the lion probably both weigh 250kg. That's putting massive strain on the tendons, shoulders and spine of both that horse and the two others.. -_- The poor cats too, how the hell did they make them 'ride' a horse? Cats use their claws to grip prey/balance, i'll bet that blanket on the pony is to cover any claw marks!!
did you see the tigers claws on 1:22! if that tiger were to fall and it went to hold on and got the horses flesh......... that would not be pretty... expecially if it got the horse by the throut. The horse could easily bleed out......... not to mention in some of the pics the animals look scared to death. i mean who wouldnt be afraid of a huge predator riding on their backs? well even though i think this teatment of animals is pretty abusive to the poor animals i do like the song though.
@metabog Maybe because I don't (yepp I DON'T) see my horse as food and would rather like to eat it instead of riding it.
I'm a predator, yes. But I know ways to not behave like a predator. A lion, tiger or bear just can't do that kind of thing and it's totally against their nature to sit on a horse's back instead of hunting it down and eating it.
Bet you'd pee yourself having a tiger/lion/bear even coming close to you without any restraints. And you ARE a predator.
@metabog Because we don't weigh as much as lions, tigers or bears. Because we do not have claws or teeth that could kill a horse (even though their teeth are pulled) Because we don't have the constant urge to kill and eat them.
That pony is like "fuck what did i do to deserve this"...the animals doing the riding are thinking one day chinky man trainer i'll be on your back too.
removing the animals' teeth is no different than us pulling our OWN teeth. it's not the animal's problem we enjoy watching them ride each other (hahaha) but the animals are not starving, have open wounds, or any visible health issues. animals in "more civilized" countries are beaten, neglected, or abused in other ways every day. there is NO way to prove the way they trained these animals was cruel. the only huge issue i see if that horses should not be trotting on concrete; it hurts their joints
someone should shove a tiger/lion/bear on the persons back!! The horse in the first picture is scared any idiot knows that! Can you not see the white in the horses eyes?
this is down right horrible!!!! i have been ridng horses sence i was five so i know a terified horse when i c one!!! this horse is absolutetly terifeied!!!!!!!! u r goin againts all of the horse and lions instincs!!! this is animal crualty at its best!!! i could go on and on!!!! ugh!!
A horses joints cannot handle such a hard surface, particularly if they are younger aged, and as you can imagine, when concrete and hoof meet, the chances of the horse falling are very high. Thats all I have to say on this matter.
*continuation* you would realize that the fence behind the animals in the photos is much taller than average stock pannels (often used to confine equines), which are about six feet tall. This is not natural in any manner of context. Backing my statements and theories I have close to 12 years experience handling, studying, and owning equines and dont support such madness in any aspect. I would also like to bring attention to the concrete footing this poor animal is being run on. -see continuation
If any of you knew the first thing about horses you would realize that the horse is infact exhibiting body language that is screaming fear. The whites of his eyes are showing, and you can see the tension in his muscles. Its not natural for humans to ride horses, let alone big cats, which is where their natural fears are derived from. The horse WOULD NOT jump the fence into the crowd to escape, as if you were more observant...*see continuation*
People have thier own cats declawed, you could say the same for that. (but it's a wild animal though), no it's not, it's a domesticated circus animal.
"horses are being terrified"
Sorry but the horse doesn't remotely look terrified, it would of lept of the stage or ran to teh first exit if it was. You try stopping a stampeding horse that's petrified, show's how little you know.
Cool? this is afwul that lion and tiger have their claws dug into that poor horse, just for the amusement of the public, This sort of thing should be stopped.
I agree with Eldouradogirl this is obviously a form of abuse to both the horse and the other animal it is cruel to remove any animals teeth but especially a carnivore.
And I say if u think this is cute or whatever then u are a retard who doesn't give a crap about animals:P
and for omgharajuku I hate to tell you but an adult male lion weighs more than the fat lady, they weigh over 400lbs and a tiger weighs alot more than that
You'll find zoo tigers/lions don't weight anything near their wild counterparts, simply becuase they don't hunt or travel miles a day which builds muscle (happens to be a lot heavier than zoo fat).
@Eldouradogirl ofcourse the lion has canines. wait to see it setting loose without its trainers beating him all the time with weapons inside a still cage-prison ;)
I think the weight for the horses is fine. After all, think of the poor jumping horses who have to carry the fattest bitches around in an arena during a horse show for an hour, leaping over three foot jumps. Now that is strain.
It's not too bad for the horse because i'm sure they do not work the animals too long- I would just be worried than one of the carnivores would bite or scratch the poor horse by accident. :[
Ugh, did you see how small a weight-baring area the platform for the white tiger has? That must be digging into the horse's back big-time. Not to mention how much a tiger weighs. This is terrible.
