the analogy is incorrect. If you take income tax based on what everyone make or spend.. not everyone bought a 10 dollar meal. If someoen gets a lobster.. the tax shouldn't be lowered.. especially since the restaurant can't afford a discount.

Actually, those whose income is over 200,000 pay over 80% of all the taxes received by the IRS. Apparently you didn't listen to the whole video.

These are the IRS's numbers from their own website: 84.6% of all taxes come from the top 25% of income earners. The top 50% pay 96.70% and the top 1% pay 36.89%. This data is from the latest tax year released. Check it out yourself.

maybe the 10th guy dosnt show up tommorrow? maybe the guys in the middle stop working for the 10th guy and he is unable to pay the tab as well. Your example is quite simple and is only aimed at proving your point. You don't discuss how wages are derived in the 1st place or who benifits from the public tax dollar the most.
