At the end of the day it's about taste & the emotion you feel when you listen to the singer & sometimes my ears need a rest from Vanessa's voice but I could listen to Una all day. I'd say the same for Ness too is she toned it down a little. Anyway, they harmonise beautifully, their sound is full, work smoothly together & each bring something different. They're a group not solo singers.

Oh I see you are a fan of Vanessa which I happen to be of the whole band. My comment was purely objective and i'ts not because I'm Irish because I'm African. I just mentioned what she made good use of her strong voice first and backed it up with her accent. It does not matter which accent but the way she used her accent is to her advantage. In this perfomance she lifted up the song where it almost fell flat. anyway that's my opinion.

Ness, although great often goes over the top so much that she is pitchy, out of tune & screaming (see how the last line is perfect?). Una has never been out of tune like the others (mainly Roch who is also nasal) nor does she overdo it like Vanessa so often does. Her phrasing is spot-on as is her emotion; her "it doesn't work" on Chasing Lights album version made me tear up. Another thing I find incredible about her voice is that she can literally sound so different with every song.

On the song "Chasing Lights" (album version), Vanessa sings everything; the others sing backup. But Una's "think of me, I'll be on the top just watching you fall" in the song "Fall" is amazing. You can really hear the emotion in her voice.

And yes, I've heard Vanessa go slightly over the top, but never to the point where it's distracting. And she is never out of tune. And her voice is powerful. You need a strong voice for the climax, which she provides. But still Nessa is a 9/10, Una 7.5/10.

She can hold a note - look at my channel for their A Cappella performance of JCGE. She is an effortlessly smooth dancer - the group's strongest and she plays guitar plus some piano & Cello. Their different tones harmonise beautifully & all the personalities contribute a ton to the band, there's no reason to brand anyone most & least talented. The band would not be the same without any of them.
