Chrome Division did the the best cover of this in my personal opinion and on the subject of Nickelback: they were at their best when they did Silver Side Up and the albums prior to that album were good and even The Long Road which came out immediately after Silver Side Up was good but went a bit downhill with their last couple albums as they went too "pop and mainstream" despite the earlier albums being much more grittier and heavier so yeah don't go mainstream ;)
