Mpemba effect = blackbody radiation effect. Far infrared light permit hot water to loses it's energy much faster than contact heat exchange.
Cold water has no significant energy above background energy (in cold weather), and contact heat exchange is so poor.
On your video - it is so good example of blackbody radiation. Not only that it freezes faster due to far IR emission - you made higher radiation volume.
Try it with cold water - low far IR emission, poor contact heat exchange.
That actually seems much faster than in experiments, your video would actually be useful in figuring the process of the phenomenon. It obviously deals in temperature differences between the container and water.
