I was paid 50 bucks to embroider the horse and rider on a friends jeans and his girlfriend cut them up and called my husband telling him I had paid 50 to have sex with her boyfriend- fat chance. I was kinda upset about the work I did wasted, but more upset about upsetting my folks Thanksgiving visit. boy that was a long time ago 1976.
Some things in life, there are no words to accurately describe. It's only what you feel when it's over. This obscenely obscure little "gem" of a tune from the great MTB is one of those things........Dim the lights, turn it up, close your eyes, lean back and listen............how do feel?
I've been listening to the Marshall tucker band my whole life, and they are by far the best, as Oildalecat said. This is a very mellow blues number, and is one of my favorites to this day.
That's what I'm talking about, such a smooth slide and lyrics that speak volumes about this life. I've always loved this song, actually love MTB, makes a grown man stream some tears.
Thank you for posting this song. I loved a lot of the M.T.B. Toy Caldwell did a heck of a job playing steel guitar on the Serchin' for a Rainbow Album.
