I think he wrote "Dis Poem" for people with conscious minds. 15 years ago when I first heard this it spark something in me. Now I see what it is. Nothing that conscious thinking black people will do or say will never be see or heard by the vast majority of people, especially caucasians (europeans).

I got a D on that poem, I got a bad reception on dis poem, I got a bad grade for dis poem, I was not understood for dis poem..
