When Clint said How was working with Joey, I could see that he was thinking, was "the things I could say about him". But he kept quiet, which I think was for the best. But what was that all about in the beginning of the episode?
Blow me, 5:22. Not funny, douchebag. You're not fit to wipe Johnny Ramone's ass, dickwad. You're as washed up as those other rightwing losers, Janine Turner, Victoria Jackson, John Voight...
Retarded... As I'm sure it was intended to be. They could have at least given Johnny his time to speak. Johnny should have got up and punch Mr Howard in the head. Like the good o'l days of WWF wrestling interviews! LoL
I played the video to watch the interview with Johnny, and... I wanna die!, I can't believe he was cut off when answering that question :''' (
I'm from Argentina, I'm a big Ramones fan and I was at that show in Buenos Aires in 1996, and now I wanted so bad to hear what Johnny was going to say about it...
anyway, thank you so much, ConalCochran, for this upload!!! : )
@MissingRagDoll ask ConalCochran. It used to all be up online, when originally put out by POP.com
But I assure you, Johnny was in on the joke. It was all in fun. they were good friends, or Johnny would not have been there. All the people that appeared on the show were GOOD friends of Clint.
@backoftheshell he actually did answer the question and many more in the extended original version of this. it was a joke. i guess you didn't "get it"
They're good friends, I assure you. Clint once cut short a phone conversation with me because he'd missed a call with Johnny about participating in a charity event in Joey's name. This was all scripted & in good fun. Clint's a great guy & he has lots of respect for Johnny.
Well, thanks for the info. If it's really scripted and planned, it's a different thing, but seeing it just like that it looks like Clint's messing around with Johnny.
@Headbanger14 actually he wasn't a very good at all. It was all. I love the Ramones, they are my favorite band, but really... johnny is not that skilled. Maybe creative, but not necessarily a good guitar player.
@supercoolbrian thats what punk rock is all about "Not been good at playing instruments" its all about fun and good music, you dont have to be the best guitar player or drummer to play in a punk band
@supercoolbrian Respectfully you're opinion is in the minority. Rolling Stone puts Johnny Ramoneat #16 of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Google it.
@ShonenAltec Yeah, i understand that. And Im glad. i love the Ramones, but really it all comes down to whats your opinion of great. Rumour has it, he had to have extra help with part of Sheena is a Punk Rocker, cause the part was too hard. Im not a guitar player. I do a little bit of bass, but I dont think too many people that are professional guitarists are incapable of doing that. Still, freaking awesome style man...
Me too, I didn't like that he fucked it up when he was about to answer the best question to make a lousy joke, Johnny seemed kind of unconfortable with that.
