Restore Dell Recovery Partition (Dell DataSafe) Windows 7

Title of this video is wrong. It should be Restore "with" Dell recovery partition.

I'm looking for a way to restore or build new recovery partition on HDD.

um i dont really know that much about computers but i have a Dell laptop, the kind that says INSPIRON on it, and it goes throught the loading screen and then before it gets to users it stays on the screen at 0:25 like it just stays on that screen. pressing F8 doesnt do anything, can someone please help

@estiven0995 your computer probably has a recovery partition i would leave that there just incase of anything your going to want to have that unless you have the windows software.

@APhamrice probably your computer doesnt have the recovery you need for this video.. if your computer is a little old that might be the problem.

if it's not letting you get to the reboot program in the beginning, try tapping f8 as soon as you turn the computer on...

Hey man I got a "Disk Read Error" and when I press F8, it doesn't do anything and continues to give me disk read error. And yeah I had once formatted my whole C:\ drive with my recovery DVD but now it takes like forever to even start the installation.

I need HELP!!! At 3:22, it says starting windows.. then a blue screen with a whole bunch of words show up for about a second.. Then my laptop restarts and it gives me the option to continue or Launch the start up manager.. No matter which one I click, either way, after i strt it up again, it goes back to the blue screen :/ .. please! Help!!

@adam13255 As shown on the video Dell Datasafe is provided as an option for restoring your computer to factory settings. You dont have to do anything with DellDatasafe prior to factory restore, it will do everything for you if you choose that option.

2 questions, when I open dell data safe from the little icon on the bottom right it gives me the restore option which then brings me to the same restart now screen you got, is the f8 method different or needed? And will doing the factory image restore have all the drivers installed and stuff so it is exactly how it was when it was turned on for the first time out of the box? Thanks for this video!!

@StonedBoo you should not need it but if you run into any trouble let me know and ill guide you on how to get it back up and running... if by any chance it doesn't work right after you use your own backup disk all you have to do is get the windows 7 disk the version your pc has and it has a repair computer option which will get your computer back up and running..
