well i have a situation i flunk the 8 grade and i was suppose to go to high school this year and some of my friends moved on to high school i am going to the same high school they are but i am so nervous for high school next year can u give me some advice i am trying to get the most advice on youtube videos and my other friends oh and wat happens on freshmen beat day or wat ever its call thanks for lookin at my comment thanks for the advice i really respect u for giving us advice on youtube thxs

@kristenmorriss thanks for the comment and watching. i would suggest to try to make friends with people in your classes I think it is easy to start to talk to someone about an assignment. also complement people it may be a good way to start a conversation. it is not easy to make new friends but be friendly and open..good luck :D and enjoy your new school!

When I started my Freshman year last year. I thought it would be so fun because no one knew anyone. But that was not true. Everyone already had their little circles and knew each other from school, And I was just in a corner. But I eventually met people and it wasnt so bad. But I still miss my old friends from a my old city.

I'm gonna be a sophmore next year. My first day of highschool was really hazy. I wasn't really that nervous on my first day because I had gone on vacation and had a bunch of drama going on with the friends I met there so I wasn't really worried. I found that having something else major to focus on really helped me.

I especially agree with your first point, everyone is nervous. In second semester, my close group of friends and I talked, and now joke, about how nervous we all were. I found in college, there really isn't an "in" crowd like high school. Unless it's just the school I go to, almost the whole 600 of us know each other and get along. It isn't as cliquey as high school.

Great video! I'm a really shy person, going to be a freshman in high school this year, and I'm going to try and just be a little more outgoing. I have some classes without my friends and I really want to be able to make new friends in those classes. And your right, I do forget all the time that I'm not the only freshman who's super nervous about starting high school, and it kind of makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one.
