this song is actually genius, and it's all in how the meaning can be decoded with the instrumentation. that popping sound after the chorus is supposed to represent bubbles, like in bubbly alcoholic drinks, then there's a jingling sound that's like ice in a glass, and the percussion during the chorus is a little violent, kind of suggesting a struggle, or a battle (with alcoholism.). awesome song.
