haha xD You look cute! But also, I recommend to hide your nose and mouth, all that dust rising up can make you feel sick and then the work will delay afterwards. Flott video!
no most of the old farm machines were made to bale off if there was a problem and not get run over by the machine. u can walk or if ur real good ride a horse behind but a little dirt wont hurt ya
Suppose it's a good idea to walk behind, at least at times. You know sitting for too long is not good for you and these spring type seats are not good for the back.
@SLORRIFJART321 NO most of the time you would drive 25 miles or more , your back would be mighty glad for a seat, no they are not hard on our back they are very comfortable
my grandfather was a ploughman in Scotland. in wet days the laird told them to put the horses away as it was too wet, then they were sent out to clean ditches in the rain. just a small piece of social history 4 u.
Miri is the best student I have ever had, she is born able to read a horse and that makes driving them a lot easier, she has natural hands as well, and a whole lot of common sense!

I would sure like to build one of those carts. Eating a little dirt is surely better than harrow marks over your back.

Could the seat be in front of the harrow or is it for 'weighting' purposes? Thats way to much dirt to be breathing in.
