@Nyanginex go to vndb.org. They have all information about visual novels. Go to the tags, search by popularity and filter english language to know more. I'd recommend Ever 17 or demonbane because they have official eng translation. Others only have fan-made translation.

I've never read a visual novel before but i was thinking i would like to start because its something new, and sounds like a new hobby i could really take up....

Do you know whats a good one for me to start? Im really into romance/drama, the very sad kind.... Also where do you get them? Do you have to order them online or download/purchase them? Or just get them illegally haha....

Sorry but how comes that Devil on G String is 6th and Fate Stay.Night is 1st? I've played both of them and Devil on G String is ten times better than Fate in... everything. Don't take me wrong - i love Fate but it's just feel so wrong for some reason.
