  • Support Ron Paul and help end the Fed. Watch Dontcha Know on ending the FED.

  • It would be a different country with Ron Paul in charge.

  • I hope he's changed his views on the death penalty. The death penalty is an extreme exertion of state power and is of little use in a free society, while it is of great use to a tyrannical government.

  • @TimeWarp66 He has. Mostly because of the justice disparity between rich and poor as well as DNA evidence that has freed many during the past decade.

  • A great man who would uphold the principles of the Constitution. Too bad that the average American is a loser who WANTS more socialism.

  • I don't think it's even socialism that's the problem, but the fact that the ones we're electing are the least likely to benefit from socialism. Look at the formula: Greedy Spineless Politicians + Socialist Platform = ???. It doesn't add up. Paul ftw.

  • wow.

  • I would take a bullet for Ron Paul.

  • @VivaLaSexPistols I would load the gun

  • Bahaha, they bailed out a Mexican oil company at this time? This is LITERALLY the same situation as today, and Paul's words are the exact same as well! Stunning.

  • Thank you. This is just awesome.

  • Hmmm

Interesting to see that this man is still the same today as he was back in 88.

It reliefs and at the same time troubles me.

This man has been in office for so long, yet the public REFUSES to accept this point of view that WOULD fix everything IF we applied his methods.

Now we are just voting for 2 prime evils.

    Obama and McCain.

Most of us choose to vote for the "lesser" evil.

But that still makes us evil ....

  • Ron Paul would revolutionize America

But as long as the sheep are happy, they wont ask questions :(

  • Or ask for Alternatives ;(

  • anyone notice some hostility towards Paul from the interviewer?

  • Whoa. Ron Paul lost me on the blaming the poor for being poor, the death penalty, and privatizing social security. He' right that you shouldn't force the middle to pay for the poor, but he is wrong when he doesn't address the indirect causes for the poor peopl'e plight. He was too black and white then. I'm not sure of his viewpoint now. He's correct about the federal reserve, though.

  • you are an idiot.

  • I was one of the guys who actually voted for him in 1988. And I'll write his name in again if he's not on the ballot.

  • the only diff between this campaign and his more recent one was he supported the death penalty, and in his current campaign there were more issues that didnt exist then

boy did this interview end awkwardly, ron paul when he was young was tough as shit and would have knocked this guy out in all things being equal in a fight, but this guy acts like its the other way around

  • AWESUM

  • AMERICA needs RON PAUL NOW!

The WORLD also needs RON PAUL NOW!

Come on AMERICA wake up - wake your colleagues, neighbours, friends & family up ... 'cause if you don't, & you allow them all to sleep through the most vital REVOLUTION in AMERICAN HISTORY, you may as well join the water that gets flushed down the loo too!

    SOUTH AFRICA FOR RON PAUL!

  • Remember what Dr. Paul always says.

"Truth is Treason in the Empire of Lies"

  • RP 08'

  • 6:08: "I think it would be helpful to bankrupt the Soviet Union if they want to spend all their money because they couldn't win in Afghanistan and they're broke and now they're getting more loans from the United States." Hmmm... you would think the United States would have learned a valuable lesson from that...

  • vvv 900 views

  • If all of the remaining candidates went on that TV show "Moment of Truth", Ron Paul would be the last one standing. The rest would fail within the first few questions!

Ron Paul is the only one who is NOT a

  • To be fair, Ron Paul no longer wants anything to replace the income tax (he says here we could do a national sales tax.) Also, he no longer supports the death penalty. Other than those two issues, he has not changed his principles at all over the past 20 years. Also, I don't think he wants to privatize social security anymore.

  • Wow, nothing has changed, he says the exact same words, that's amazing, no other candidate in HISTORY has been like that.

  • This man is a true PATRIOT. Men like him are few and far between. He is determined to fight to reform this country and the beauty of it is that he knows he is sacrificing himself not for a chance at the presidency, that is highly unlikely, but rather for our future, for raising awareness, for leading the way of a fight we must fight one day, hopefully soon. He is speaking the obvious truth but we've been fed lies for so long. No one thinks for themselves.

  • Twenty years later...

Close your eyes and listen, the exact same message. I'm thinking about writing in his name in the November general election.

My dad was talking about vouchers in 1960.

  • REAL, AND GOOD GUY! sharp! he is a genius that should have the chance to lead this country

  • this person has taught us alot... even if he don't win he is the REAL winner.. even if i don't totally agree with all he believes in! I hope Obama or Clinton give him some spot to help America

  • Obama and Clinton?! Do you even know what Paul stands for? Obama and Clinton want to socialize your income. Obama and Clinton are not Libertarians. Grow A F*CKING BRAIN!

  • To sharply jump to a Libertarian idiology at this scary time in the world in a magnitude of Ron Paul's discription is a big REVOLUTION which amounts to madness. But with a good compromise i believe he has a powerful idia, which he made very popular, now big enough influencing anyone of the nominees. Just yesterday one dude anounced he is going to run as a Libertarian.

  • Gravel wants to run as a libertarian but the party has to approve it. His "revolution" is a very old idea that this country used to run on before we allowed the government to take care of people with your money.

  • You'll be scared all your life.

  • This videos shows a lot of consistency for Ron Paul, this is an asset for him. Though there are a little differences views on death penalty, he is the most important president candidates as of current election of 2008!!! I am from singapore, but still support Ron Paul. Thanks for the videos. I sincerely hope Ron Paul will Win !!!! All the way Dr. Ron Paul !!!

  • he didn't seem so confident in the death penalty, besides we are paying for serial killers meals :O

  • The death penalty's more expensive that life in prison.

  • He isn't for the death penalty now. I think his reasoning was with DNA there shouldn't be anymore.

  • Ron Paul no longer supports the death penalty This is from 1988

  • pleas please, anyone who shares this view, watch this to hear his views on this subject in 2008:

    youtube(dot)com/watch?v=ex-yp10yLvs

  • well i did watch this clip. he says he is not

for it on a federal level. so maybe if a single state had a death penalty he might not care about it.

so it remains unclear. he is not for the death penalty anymore because its not done equal for rich and poor. i think thats the wrong and a weak reasoning. he should be against it if he is truly pro life. iam in and from germany n i think a reason is that a man can not judge about the life of an other man, only god can.

  • @divinityblue

    broken link

  • seriously!! how are we going to let this happen again! PLEASE AMERICA!!!! VOTE RON PAUL!!!
