Hey i recently got a baby uro and Ive had em for about a month now and all he does is sleep. when i first got him he use to run around his cage all the time or sit on his basking rock. i have to wake him up to make him eat what i put out for him and I'm very worried about him and he doesn't seem to be getting any bigger.
Hey, I'm considering getting a uromastyx. I'm not a beginner reptile keeper but havent ever had a uromastyx. can anyone help me out and and plaese tell me the care for these lizards? PLEASE RESPOND
Yeah when they are babies you can generally keep them together. That said, however, I have had clutches in the past that basically killed each other with biting. I have not seen that since, but it can happen.
Adults will not tolerate another adult for very long, except during breeding season.
LOOK AT THE BABIES!!!!! Ed they are GORGEOUS!!! ...I need another one now!!! You should see Lincoln eat now, he goes NUTS!! He's a beast!! I'll try to get a video up soon!
Hey Lyssa- the one in the center of the video is the one I was thinking for you.
He does have a very aggressive style and a certain posture. In addition to this he has one very peculiar feature: A slightly deformed eyelid. This gives him a very interesting appearance. i call him sigfried from 'Get Smart' when your ready he's yours.
Not as of yet. But soon. I'm thinking that I will wait until early spring. There are two sets of hatchlings. The one in the video is a group of 6 the other is a group of 5. All are doing very, very well. So check back. Some are accounted for, tentatively.
