I always overstood that "withing the truth" there is not deception and that deception lies outside the truth, therefore once truth is obtained (not necessarily from the words of man,woman, or child) no deception exists there ("begins to search for the truth" is after "people lie" ). Truth must be tested through the fire to prove itself true. Thats how the game stops...
