Nice update man. Ur in a tough spot with the bachmann K-4, the wires on all bachmann's are tricky. I had 2 of them and they were by far the worst steam locos I had. Im a broadway limited guy...Reading T-1s...good model. Keep the vids coming! PS.... lower the prices a bit on ur locos, I sell stuff for like 50% off because its used, no one will pay top of the line price when its used. Just something to think about, keep up the work.
Well I would have lowered the prices on them because your right, technically, they are used. However, I have installed new LED lights and a DCC decoder, so I don't think it would make sense to lower them much more.
@modeltrain9500 ahhh i got u, i mean dont get me wrong they are really nice models but maybe like 20 bucks off or something just to get some quick money
I would say re solder the wires on. Just be careful, and use tiny diameter solder, not big stuff. If you use the small stuff, you run less risk of it flowing over to other connections.
FYI Bachmann K4's very picky on track. Have both DCC Ready and DCC/Sound versions and are picky especially on joints. Nice engine over all! FYI can get one with Sound for $175!
They really need to make the wires on stuff harder to brake they always come off so easy! Since I would fall into the tech geek category I know what all that computer stuff means and by the sounds of it your laptop has a better performance than my desktop!
Hope you can review that engine soon. O love the K4s! Did you fix it yet?
