  • Like this... love the pam trees in the side mirror! I still have my 45 record, song makes you wanna dance!

  • Karate Kid 2:28

  • @mathiastheok That was awesome! haha perfect timing with the song too!! xD

  • My winter weary eyes would love to see palm trees & water that's not frozen. You are very lucky to be in CA. (As I write this, another stupid snow plow is going down my street.) Video is great...thanks.

  • Ha! Love it! And I love the timing right at the slow down when that guy lifts his arms. Nice. :) I miss a lot of things about my life in LA. PCH and the strand are high on the list. Thanks for the ride through my old "home town." And I like the angle with the rear view mirror, too. Keep up the good work and good taste in music. ::two thumbs up::

  • Go Joe!!!! Takes me back to my Fort Lauderdale days. Yeah, baby!

  • This version really cooks. My favorite version by far.

  • I love hearing this when you are in a good mood and when your not this song will put you in a good mood. Heuy Lewis did a good job with this song in the movie duets!

  • Is this his own orignal music or one of his many covers?

  • @limehouse2005

This song was written by (the one and only) Dave Mason just one of the the best classic rock musicians around.

Thank you since you've asked ok?

    g : )

  • Ahhhhh. Love the oldies (even though I'm 16)

Where did the talent go? Followed the Legends right into the grave and up to Heaven. Can't wait until He's ready for me to come on up there and rock 'n roll all night :)

  • Hey if he is not feeling too good himself I am all for this song. Cause I can relate.

  • Thanks for the drive! This is Callie.. right?

  • Went from Stephen Stills and Love the One Your With to this one. Clearly we ware the same page. Am a New Englander who had the true pleasure of living in Southern California for several years. Learned to surf and came back here with sweet memories. Thanks for othe shoreline shots. Clearly I am overdue for a trip back to Swami's. You made my day!

  • Thanks for the video. Reminds me of how much I love California, especially southern California. For some reason, your video and this song reminded me of P.O.P. (the old Pacific Ocean Park near Venice) Aging myself here. Those WERE the days.

  • You would never say anything bad about t this song or ignore the significance of its inspiration

  • What an amazing song, it fits perfectly with this simple but cool video. Thumbs up!!

  • thank you joe, dave mason and that awesome, funky, groovin, kick ass, nawlins soundin band. makes you feel good. I'm goin to nawlins.

  • I lived on PCH when i was in Laguna Beach in the early 90's, and you can drive awhile without stopping but not like that, and I think the dissolves work great. I love the slow motion at the songs break around the 2:15 mark. Great stuff, with a lot of subtext.(It's all there!) Thanks for doing this.

  • I gotta tell you sundroid - this is bar none one of the best things I've ever seen on YouTube. It's genius in its economy and simplicity with the steady shot of passing life by, the rear view mirror in the corner reflecting everything fading into the distance, the brilliant song choice...it's just too good.

  • Great video of the PCH set to this equally great song by an equally great artist. Thanks for posting.

  • Fantastic, like a dream I always have,.... A living picture

postcard of my life, cruising along the coast on another sun drenched day, mellowed by 4:20. It begins in 1970 and continues on to 2008 and beyond. I feel the warm breezes

    FAVORITED lol

  • Hi. Good Video!

How did you do to upload a video with such a quality? is great.. can you explain please?

  • Huntington Beach.

  • We New Englanders rarely see this lovely sunny and tropical weather. But the coastline is nice here, too...just much more chilly. :) BTW, did anyone else notice the man on the boardwalk jumping up in unison with the song at timestamp 02:28? Was that planned? Either way, AWESOME video. Thanks for posting.

  • It was done in the editing. I filmed the guy raising his arms by sheer coincidence, which I then edited to the beat of the music.

  • Yes perfect

  • Well done. :)

  • Was it hot that day?

  • pretty sweet dude, i really like that part when dude does the karate kid in perfect unison with the song, clever
