I never shot at birds. My main target was carpenter bees that were out of reach of the badminton racquet. The Gamo would benefit from a choke, but they left it smooth so you could shoot pellets.
I returned the first one I got because the point of impact was low and left from the point of aim. The replacement suffered from the same problem so I fitted a red dot sight. Because of the height of the sight above the barrel, the point of aim changed considerably depending on range.
Any success with taking down birds (in flight or stationary) with the #12 shot? I've been reloading EXP20 shells with #9 shot (about 20 pellets per shell) and might hit/miss ratio on stationary birds is about 50/50, where the pattern just has too many gaps in it causing the misses. I'm wondering if the #12 shot would fill those gaps, but I'm not sure their weight is enough to take the bird down, however I suspect the velocity difference might compensate. Thoughts?
Muy buen trabajo amigo! Gracias!

Made from aluminum, not plastic. And there is a small step inside the base to keep the rear wad from coming out the back.

You have to have them made. I no longer have any for sale and retired so I cannot make any more.
There is a link to my website above where you can find the drawing.
Go to Links and click on shop and foundry.
