You dont understand , if you have a tank 20 foot high that has the same floor space as a 2 foot tank that would mean you will need 10 times as much gravel even though you still have the same area to cover ..

@BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN Well they OBVIOUSLY don't make those kinds of tanks. It would be pretty inconvenient to pile all the stuff in your house just so you can reach IN the fish tank. And a 20 foot high tank would go right through the ceiling. Who has that kind of time? I sure don't, so I use a normal tank, what about you?

It was an example that i made as simple as possible for you but let me try again , say a 3ft high tank has the same floor space as a 1ft high tank .. that means you need 3 times as much for a tank with the same floor space .. and there are plenty of tank both 1ft high and 3ft high ..
