@vivescape eBay provides the refund and backcharges the credit card the seller used to register with. The scammer isnt going to get the money AT ALL. I had a merchant account once. Often Visa didnt pay me for a month or more, sometimes THREE months.

then talking to the seller my self without using their stupid service for communication, so it passed like 40 days or soemthign since paying, so i lost over £70...
BUTT... did it actually say Apple Ipod, or just Ipod? if it just said ipod, wouldnt that be considered your fault for not contacting the seller to verify if it was an Apple Ipod. Sure it's obvious to anyone an Ipod is made by Apple, but sometimes you can guess how sneaky sellers can be just to get that little extra! i saw if your unsure, always ask!

Dude!! this isn't really a big deal, I get some fake stuff once in a while! on Ebay... but when that happen, you can be sure you're covered, Paypay will give you refund, happen to me couple times, get money back all the time!, Love Paypal!!! wouldn't buy anything without using Paypal!!!

paypal refused to do anything because instead of filing a complaint while still waiting for the item to arrive, i was waiting...
then talking to the seller my self without using their stupid service for communication, so it passed like 40 days or soemthign since paying, so i lost over £70...

BUTT... did it actually say Apple Ipod, or just Ipod? if it just said ipod, wouldnt that be considered your fault for not contacting the seller to verify if it was an Apple Ipod. Sure it's obvious to anyone an Ipod is made by Apple, but sometimes you can guess how sneaky sellers can be just to get that little extra! i saw if your unsure, always ask!

To avoid these things, I always buy directly from Apple or the company in question. I always find it helps in the long run, especially if something goes wrong with it, or anything like that.

Ebay sucks dick they always scam you i tried getting dsi they gave me an original nintendo ds (the fat grey one) and i did my best to figure who it was.... it was my friend, and we both didnt know untill he told me he sold someone a original ds to someone instead of a dsi, yea i got my money back from him, but that cmes to show you , you cant trust that site

Hmm i have an idea why not instead of buying one on ebay go to your local Best Buy or Circut City and buy one there! Why dont people understand that ebay is known for scammers and they will do it wether you like it or not. Instead of trying to save a couple bucks getting one off ebay go down to a Best Buy and get it there. At least you know you got the real thing instead of being scammed.
