thanks for the video it was great to see pits, and other bully/ aggressive labeled breeds promoted about BSL.I live in USA land of free well my little hometown in WV you cant own a pit if you live in city limits i've always lived in country but to me that doesn't seem like land of free.

my dad told me that the pitbull inherits the fighting gene but I dont believe him.you can breed a dog to have the muscles and power but they inherit their own personality and unfortunitly for the pitbull bad people influence bad charisma for these dogs at one time I believe in the 1920's the pitbulls were americas favorite dog they were known as nanny dogs and peopl trusted them with their children so my question is What went wrong how did the pitbull come from hero to zero?

I love this video. Why? I have a German Shepherd Dog, I had a Pit Bull AKA, American Staffordshire Terrier who recently passed at 14 years and he was the greatest dog in the world to me as were my Chow Chows. The Pit is so misunderstood and it's because of us as humans for making them fighting dogs in the past and breeding. It's not the dog's fault!

It's true. We have a pit bull/ heeler cross that is very affectionate. I have a video of him on my profile, his name is Angus. We got him as a puppy, after he had been picked up by a family who had found a litter of puppies under their house. He never bites without due warning, but he's a good family dog none-the-less. It's BS to take away dogs. I've never had most of the breeds that were listed, but I love them just the same.

PitBulls were killed if they were human aggressive since they were first created.You can train a chihuahua to fight & be human aggresive. DOGS ONLY KNOW WHAT YOU TEACH THEM. My Pit is 7years old, I had him since he was 1 month old. He & my 2year old son are inseparable & love each other to death.

You know NOTHING about this breed to make such stupid comments.

Pit Bulls are NOT NATURALLY human aggressive. It is the owner who teaches them aggression. APBT's were bred to be animal aggressive, not human aggressive. It is the breeder & owners that make them the way they are.

Wanna kow something funny? I worked for a vet and the dogs that tried to bite us the most were the "family breeds." Even the abused pits who were frightened of humans only wanted to please us. Any dog can be trained to bite, its not the breed's fault!

@PinkPiggy90 the reason for that is after bull baiting was banned in uk in late 1800's then they started fighting the breed with the rule "if the dog turns on human even while in ring it was killed" after years of this they killed the normal human aggression out of the breed, but animal aggression is part of there breed.

Alot of people need to see that both Pittbulls and Rottweilers are not bad dogs ppl get the wrong idea through the news its how we, as the dogs human guardian raise them, not to be some fighting dog but both breeds can be a loving companion for anyone in their family!
