Hm. I've had nothing but trouble with this guy since I got it.

He was my second or third Alternator, so perhaps I was too rough with it, but... I found it annoying to get him transformed and when he did, his arm was loose. When I got him bak to car, his door came off, and the side-view mirror ame off completely. or that reason, I've been too araid to try transforming him back to Robot mode... a shame, since by-and-large, I love the alternators.

Silverstreak, Smokescreen, and (I guess) Ricochet are some of the best TF figures ever, along with Classics Starscream & Ramjet, and the MPs. Peace.

I just noticed something, every single transformer with siren horns on their heads could have trademark problems. Here are some examples, ratchet, alternators camshaft, smokescreen, bluestreak (a.k.a. silverstreak) prowl, Alert Binaltech Asterisk Version (It's a repaint of silverstreak). A weird coincidence isn't it?

i have richochet and the porblems you mentioned i dont have (dunno maybe i got lucky if they do share the same mold)

and i found an easy way to take the arms out. i open the hood and push the arms down from the top. then pull it out from there

I never liked the feet on most of these figures. That's what kept me from buying them. I think I've made a big mistake. Quite a stupid one at that.

Git Silverstreak yesterday, based on your review(yes, twas a christmas present). But... his right arm(the one without the autobot logo) is really loose and I can't get it to stand in one position; is this a mould thing, or just mine?

hey smokah702 its almost impposible to find them. online may i suggest forbidden planet or hasbrotoy shop. u might find ricochet shockblast and other common ones at walmart and kbtoys.

Now that you have sound, any chance of a new review of Shockblast? Transformation from robot mode to car would be brilliant if you get the time. Also do you have alternators tracks or grimlock? If so, reviews please?

On the plus side Shockwave was the one I was planning on doing next, while I'm saving the leader till last. I'll also be doing a video of Shockblast reverse transformation as you wanted (and I'm sure others would like to see too). On the negative side I don't have Tracks or Grimlock (considering how much I like this line, that's saying quite a lot). Neither have been available in the U.K to my knowledge and I'm not overly keen on internet shopping...

That would be great, thanks very much! I have tracks and Grimlock, but they are Binaltech, got them on Ebay. I can't tranform Grimlock back to car mode, having trouble with the arms. How about a reverse transformation vid for wheeljack instead then? Same shit different pile.

If all else fails, I may have to change my opinion on internet shopping and buy the other 18 off ebay or something. After my Optimus Prime review though, I'll be doing reviews of some of the movie toys in a slightly new style...starting with the Real Gear Robot Autobots...

I'm not terribly impressed with Prime's robot mode either. I'll probably be saying a lot about it in the upcoming review. It's not horrible, but with a little more engineering he could've been a lot better.
