@Foxhound1112 i know it was his own mines fool. but going over ur own mines is ALWAYS dangerous. especially vs protoss since zealots or in this case DTS have high health and can just suicide themselves to blow up the tanks.

vultures are one of the most overpowered units in the game. 75 minerals gives you the fastest ground unit in the game which can lay 3 mines that do 125 damage splash. 1 vulture used correctly can kill like 5 dragoons with mines or can just kite and kill hundreds of zealots

@Foxhound1112 vulture is maybe the most cost effective unit in the game under 100 minerals. they cost no gas, have insane speed, 3 mines and 20 dmg

ive seen 3 mines take out like 8-10 hydralisks. each costing 75 minerals and 25 gas. the mines are invisible, do splash, and do 125 damage which is more damage than a seige tank.

ive seen 1 vulture being microed with patrol to kill like 8 zerglings then proceed to kill 10 drones. for 75 minerals.

ive played and won starcraft money tournaments fyi.

And bw players are generally better than sc2-only players at their respective game because if your still playing the game after this long it means you like it a lot and are likely to play competitively.

SC2 on the other hand is popular, therefore having more noobs per good player. That really doesnt annoy me though, its just how it is.

@DawnOfDemise to be honest looking back bw has alot of things i wish they would have kept, worker splitting was pretty cool some other mechanics etc. but i never really played bw because i was like 9 when it was released i was more into wc3. however i think its natural for things to progress. definitely we will see more skill in bw as it has been around for 12 years, and fuck noobs its not like you have to watch their replays. It will be good to see starcraft 2 progress to that level of play

Its the terrans fault for having his units over his own mines, and the protoss player simply punished him for it. ... He didn't ally the mines. The mines detected the DT's and exploded. The DT's were in the center of the terran's main force. The AOE splash killed the forces after hitting the DT. There is nothing to do with allied mines in this scenario.
