  • Women are not earning 25% less than men for the same job. If women did the same job, companies would hire only women.

  • According to the US Dept of Labor, most of the pay gap is attributed to fewer hours worked by women in part-time jobs of their choosing. If female income were the same, women would be paid more for less work. Considering that nearly 100% of workplace fatalities are male, women are not doing the same work.

    Men need to work six days (Jan1=holiday) to sustain the same # of workplace deaths that women do for the entire year.

  • To say that women aren't paid equally because they earn 25% less on average is a non sequitur. It does not follow. Because it may be that more women work in jobs where less money is paid (to all employees, male and female). So to get a fair judgement one would have to find out whether women earn less money FOR THE SAME WORK.
