I have been fortunate to see Kristine W in performance and have also got the chance to meet and talk to her...I remember I had on big earrings and it got caught in her big gorgeous hair!...She is seriously one of the nicest people you will ever meet

@susuemikado I did see her perform and play the saxophone. not only is she beautiful but also talented. it's a shame she's not more mainstream. her "stronger" album had great catchy songs that deserved airplay. and her comeback after cancer "Fly Away" (THe single..@ least the album versions of the rest of the singles were rather weak) should have hit the top 10 in the Main charts but dance acts back then had limited sucess.

@arivera3426 I hate to break it to you, but Kristine W isn't exactly very sucessful either. her peak was "One More Try" got dropped from RCA records, and charges for $5 for autographs (the promoter who hired her for the gig let her hear it that night)...so yeah that's not exactly being "Now" I happen to like Kristine more than Teena Marie (whom I barely know other than the song "lover girl"), but Teena Marie was more sucessful. keep it real.

It's not that anyone doesn't want to promote her it's that she has bad talent around her telling her what, when, and how to do it. She is very talented but in my opinion surrounded by a bunch of talentless stylist, producers etc. For example this video is "cheeeesy". Someone should've told her how bad it makes her look. I first viewed this music video on Kristine's website a few years ago. I was swept away by the power this song has. Her fabulous voice plus excellent, more unique production equals a song that in itself as become a classic! The lyrics are some of the best I have ever heard.
