That is incorrect - you want the most air flow possible to suck out hot air. In the video, you are obstructing the flow by putting PSU such that the fan is almost against the case. You never want it facing the wall of the case - you want it facing the space inside the case to pull the most hot air from the heat sinks, etc. - this will draw more cool air into the case from the intake fans or filters. Just to be clear, the fan that is facing inside the case doesn't push air, it pulls air.
I'm fairly sure he made a mistake. He installed PSU upright as if it was being installed at the top of the case. This is the usual placement, where the suction fan is facing down - i.e., sucking out the hot air from the case space. With the PSU in his location, the suction fan should be up. Right?
@NewAshaStudio hmmm I thought, the fan should always face the oposite way of the motherboard so it could suck no-hot air so it can cool the inside of the power suply and blow it away outside.... imagine if it sucks hot air.... wont that hot affect the inside of the power supply? :O
I built my own pc...I have a 750w power supply but, i have some issues with the power supply. I have a slight connection issue with the power ATX 20 + 4 pin connector. It's loose and if i push it fully in it disconnects to the main power I have to put it in half way to get it going any ideas how to fix it??? Anyway I have a Quad-core phenom cpu please reply someone...
nothing wrong with that we all gotta learn but building your own from the ground up is always be best choice even tho you have to use a little brain power
might be a dumb question but, i see that there are SLI- certified PSU's, do these work for people with ATI cards in Crossfire? or do i need a crossfire ready PSU???

He put the PSU wrong. The fan should face up to suck the hot air out.

i think "sli ready" just means that it probably has a bunch of pci-e connectors to power vid cards.
