Then Chile adopted german uniforms, helmets and gun machinery, as well as military music and marches. After World War II and eversince, Chile has kept this tradition honourably and proudly, in spite of the rest of the world, that has been liking USA's ass, and the former USSR's too. This tradition is undoubtedly the dearest heritage we ever got from another country. God bless Old Germany.

Well, I believe Nazis are bad, but surely the Prussinisation of an army ain't, as the Prussian/German army in those times when it supplied this to Chile was probably in the top 3 armies of the world, the first, of course, was Russia, due that it was a huge giant when mobilised, second was, I find it, Montenegro, even though they were extreemelly small, they were a huge giant concerning the army's quality, third was Prussia.. The germans don't even use swallows nest on the shoulders of their military bands. The east german military kept the prussian traditions, but the west germans went with the american way.

@yaxinghe "Preussens Gloria"(Prussias Glory, see above). It is a traditional Prussian March, that is still used in the German and the Chilean Armys, because of a common military history.

@FhilBraun Those men and women are from the non commissioned officer college, they are doing their training to become nco's. Our military is very traditional and since it's training and organisation is of Prussian origin, that is their parade uniform, notice the old Mauser rifles. This is not their regular uniform.
