i like the image on the front, i often paint horror images myself. i did a kolchak the nightstalker painting. however ebay was not feeling generous. its still for sale if anyone wants it. i can send anyone a pic..or its on my video list on my channel 'examples of my art2'. its the video with the girls face as a thumbnail. now i got to go and pik up contact lenses from rip off vison express. and i do love this music, thanks for posting it.
Sweet, Kolchak fan here. I love the Manhattan Baby cover art as well, that's why I still prefer to buy CDs/vinyl over mp3s. And you're very welcome, I am a slave to Frizzi's gorgeous scores.
you cant get the night stalker in englnad. only the tv series.they remade it , with that potato face stuart townsend. how that idiot ever got an acting career in hollyowwod is beyond me. oh yeah now i remeber. he slept with a- list charlize theron. hes a man whore. the modern series was terrible. id like to smash his smug little face in. and shd i ever get the chance, i intend to do it.
what made the movie good was fabio frizzi doing the musical score for this movie.i did enjoy the gore in this movie but the music is what made the movie enjoyable. fabio frizzi needs to come out of retirement and make more awesome music.
This is excellent music. This also happens to be my favorite Fulci movie. After hearing this main theme, I'm also thinking this will if it hasn't already become my absolute favorite Fulci music score.
I'm LiKing ThIS bAbY!!! Damn i gotta buy me this! The cover artwork here looks better than the DVD i saw in the shops!..I'm going to enjoy working on films tuf to this (when i'm not doing audio! hehe!) i love doing keyboard work! This is great stuff Honey! XXXX
It's so good, isn't it? In my opinion, better than the film. We're both big on covers, too - it's sadly becoming a lost art. For me, the second most pleasurable feeling in life is actually going out and BUYING vinyl or a CD, then tearing off the wrapper and going through the artwork, liner notes, etc.
I love this - the Italians really elevated horror to high art. They took everything seriously, right down to the music, and for my money no one scored films better than Frizzi and Simonetti.
As always, Mr. Frizzi rules my life!

Great soundtrack. Some Visitor/Stridulum influence on this movie maybe?

I think this is an interesting score. Almost sounds like what you'd get if Andreas Wollenweider composed a horror score.

Yes. It's a special sound. I must get a new vinyl player.
I think the one I own is the same as the one in the picture. I must check that out

I think my old player is still in my parents' basement. Hopefully, the rats haven't gotten to it, it's been ages. There is nothing like vinyl.
