Code Veronica is a whole different beast entirely.

It starts off with a beautiful Pre-Rendered Cutscene to fool you and then SLAMS you into reality with the shitty in game graphics.

The gameplay is awsome, when you can actually aim the f*cking gun at a zombie

The plot is incredible and totally does not have completely retarded characters

( sarcasm ) you got a 13 year old pervert ( creepiest creature in the game ) and you fight an incest couple from England.

I finished both Shenmue's

It took me a while cause i kept falling asleep.

Seriously, i've never seen a game that contains so much filler.

It's over 20 hours of gameplay all right, except 12 of those hours are spent playing f*cking lucky hit

Then you find out that there's a f*cking MAGICAL sword in an otherwise completely realistic game and that's it, cliff-hanger. How EPIC!

Seriously, in Shenmue 3 the f*cking TREE starts talking to him and tells him he's the "chosen one" you'll see.

You have to look back in perspective of how revolutionary the game was for its time though.

I'm not disagreeing with your points but the game did help breakthrough for the nextgen
