I just re-watched the first episode of S2 where McManus splits Em City evenly between every group, and suddenly out of nowhere there's a group called "The Irish" that has never even been mentioned before. It was just an excuse to keep O'Reily in Em City, I guess. Ryan was more interesting when he had no real ties to anyone and was only out for himself against everyone else.
