There's also the Russian winner from their cycle 1 - she's fab as well - Ksenia or something. She has worked for everyone incl campaigns for Dior and Lanvin. Those are the two most succesful for sure. And before there was alice there WAS Elyse....people seem to forget that because she is not famous in the Euro-scene that she is not big. She was in a commercial with Chow Yun Fat for crying out loud! (JUST last year for one of the most luxurious hotels in...Hong Kong?) And though unlike Alice where modelling is her life, she is still doing it and still doing well (just did a recent editorial). Alice is the best thus far in terms of fame.Elyse was the FIRST superstar to come out of that show.

Actually I am looking at one of her Vogue covers right now (Spain..so European one..they are a legitimate country in fashion) as well as her various Elle covers, Harpers Bazaar..are THESE not high fashion MAGS!? The cover for Vogue Italia that Tyra was on was an all black edition so they used almost all the famous black models. I doubt she can get on Vogue by herself. Elle uses a lot of celebrities on their covers so its not big deal for Tyra to get on (Elle Girl does not count as a high fashion magazine). Notice that she got on these magazines AFTER she retired from modeling. The magazines hired her for her celebrity status more so than as a model.

And if you researched the definition of supermodel, it is a model who works in high fashion AND commercial. Not how well they're known in the public. If that were true then VSFS and reality tv would make a model become a supermodel, which would disregard all other factors. Gisele has worked for various high end and commercial labels. When was the last time Tyra worked for D&G, Versace, John Galliano or any of those labels?

SUPERMODEL...listed officially as a supermodel and not only as a supermodel but one of the top wealthiest. I think Alice is a total natural in modeling! I would rather mirror the curvier models myself but that doesn't mean I don't think Alice isn't beautiful. She is naturally that skinny- she was monitored during AuNTM and they assured the viewers she is naturally skinny. Most of my inlaws and my husband are absolute twigs and they all eat like horses, so I know it's possible.
