I agree that they changed a little from their older performances. I think nowadays they alternate between "heavy moments" and "soft moments", not only Serj's vocals but also Daron's guitar and Shavo's bass (the only one who continues like yesterdays, in my opinion, is John). Of course it doesn't mean it's not cool, for me They still kick ass!

Ok, so for all the people who are saying Serj doesn't sound the same, yes that's true. You have to realize he's almost 10 years older now than when Toxicity came out. Of course he's not going to have quite the same amount of energy and punch to his voice that he once had. However, to those who are saying he looks bored, I completely disagree. He seems to be having a ball especially in this particular performance. He's dancing around a bit, and is smiling a lot!

Take Bruce Dickinson as an example. He's almost 30 years older than when The Number of the Beast came out and it seems that he can sing songs like The Number of the Beast and Hallowed Be Thy Name the same way as he did on 1982.

@beavisrech Well, Bruce Dickinson has a completely different style of singing thank Serj. Take the screams in some of Systems songs for example they are harder on the vocal cords than the way Bruce sings, (not to say that either style of singing is more difficult or better, because I love Iron Maiden too), also Serj's side project was more mellow than System, so he might just be used to singing that way now.
