A lot of women of today seem to be proud to be roughed around the edges, to act and carry themselves as unfeminine, steroid-roid raged macho-women who even want to also physically fight (no thanks to the reality shows of the catfights it contains) and seem to be proud and honored to be called a bitch/whore and to dress/act and carry themselves that way!...also proud to have kids out of wedlock by different men and proud to be USED as a semen depository and advertise themselves that way!!

I'm 22 and I don't watch TV or movies hardly because I can't relate to the majority of women in the media. They're either hot and act like bimbos just to get men in bed with them or mothers and grandmothers who play support actors with no major roles. The only movies I could really identify with were Muriel's Wedding and Fried Green Tomatoes. The news the advertisements just want women to be eyecandy even if they're curvy in those dove commercials. It's all about sex appeal, nothing else.

I think it is important to note that ALL types of people abuse and exploit girls. The pageant mother with the 4 year old baby who calls herself religious.....the "friend" who says why arent you wearing what i am wearing? the teacher that looks at his female student a second too long. I do think that it is more than "Media" that is doing this. It is the parent that learned from their parents. 5 stars rosary films! I 100% agree with you. I am a man and I draw anime/manga for fun. I even drew little pro-life political cartoons just recently on a vid I did.

Anyway one the downsides of manga is that many women charcters, even teen girls wear clothes that are very revealing. Every time I look on google to see if there are any tips on how to draw anime I always find some lustful picture of an anime girl, drawn by another artist. It's not just girls but boys and men as well.

I have an almost 10 year old daughter and let me tell you, the self respect part of the womens movement died with Bill Clinton.

The fashions for little girls makes them look like prostitutes.
