the physics in half life 3 should be the selling point. every thing in the game reacts the way it would in real life, including full physics based destruction. keep the gameplay the same without iron site aiming, health regen or a dumbed down weapon swapping system, open up the maps a bit for less of a "rails" feel and throttle back on the scripting a bit unless it moves the story along. perfect sequel

It's more about Gabe announcing that Ep3 would ship after Orange Box

(which means BEFORE L4D, L4D2, Portal 2, DotA 2, CS:GO)

then go silent for 4 years just to crawl back to a podcast and declare that they are done with the episodic format.

Of course this must have been a really difficult decision and it probably took a lot of time to consider and be sure this is what they wanted to do, they did this back with the first game(i.e. scrapped and rebuilt) but I guess you weren't aware or something. Just to start it of, i guess I am ignorant of glitches in a game that I don't own, and not being able to mute people has always been in counter strike ever since the mod first came out so I feel it's kinda a part of the game now.

What you mention is pretty minor stuff to me, maybe since I don't play CSS. The fact that I don't remember any might have something to do with their dev-time or maybe you're just gonna say that I don't see them cause I'm blind.
