  • Beg pardon, but do you have to do any modifications to this DMU to get it into the cabview/sound configuration you have it in? Or does it come "out of the box" as we see it here? More of a steam fellow myself, but classic diesel and electric engines/units are starting to grow on me.

At present time, I'm still quite active with MSTS, although I do have Train Simulator 2012/Railworks 3.

  • Nice upload, thanks for sharing.

Where did you get that cab view from? I have looked on uktrainsims but cant find it.

    Cheers

  • Very useful, as I'm going to drive a real DMU next week.

    Thanks Geralldus

  • Do you know what that music tune was called in intro?

  • How can I get MSTS downloaded?

  • You should also let the revs drop down before you change gear or you'll knacker the box!

  • @strange6

Indeed that is what you should do, though bearing in mind this is a part simulated turorial for MSTS. Unfortunately dropping the revs won't work on a lot of the 1st Gen DMU's for MSTS, purley because Microsoft didn't think to actually simulate gears properly, which is a shame

  • @MSTSstudio in your london to peterbourgh video a couple of years what game is that called and where did you get it so i can get it

  • Great Video, quite like the way you've mastered the driving of a 1st gen unit!
